Value of life

hi everyone, how is your moday going?.... Mine has been really stressful, there's a labor strike going on in my country right now and everything is basically disrupted. There's no light, we can't buy petroleum to power our generator and also some roads are blocked and i also heard that airport are temporarily closed. All these are happening because government workers wants an increase in the minimum wage. So my monday is not going as planned.

While being stressed out, i tried to scroll through TikTok and I came across a question and the question was that "what is the value of your life?".

i have come across some people saying all they want in their life is to have a lot of money and when they are asked do they need anything else than the money, they replied "more money"..... it is actually funny and also not funny at the same time because when you realize the number of people actually suffering just from lacking basic needs in life, you will realize how true it is. The truth remains that when you have more money, that automatically give you more friends and even your enemies will want to be your friend because of what they will gain from you and what benefits that will arise from just being your friend.

Honestly, we all want to be rich in this life because in poverty, there is nothing good attached to it.... but have you ever thought about the value of a lifeless person?..... in terms of monetary value, it won't have any worth because a lifeless person is neither poor nor rich, it is just there and not existing, it basically have nothing attached to it and all the wealth attached to such person can't be useful to him longer.

If you were promised to be given over 5 million hive which can only be spent by you but there's a condition which is that you will be lifeless the next day, will you accept?...... no one will accept this deal and this shows that our life is worth more than money and this should enlighten us on how we should live our life and carefully make decisions that might tend to affect our life at some point later in the future.

A person who has passed away or lose his or life can no longer continue to contribute to society or fulfill their goals, ambitions and desires, they might still be remembered and valued by their loved ones but with time and their impact on the world may continue through their legacy or influence but what does their life worth by then?... it doesn't worth anything, and it can't change anything.

If life and money are compared, you will realize how precious life is and no matter the money you have, you can never buy it. Life is a precious and irreplaceable gift that cannot be bought or sold... life is priceless and it should be cherished and respected because we can neither create a life or give life to a lifeless being.
