Knowing Me Knowing You

Hi Hivers and Meta Life Masters,

As I begin this new journey in our hive community it's a good time to introduce myself and blather a bit about how I got here and why this community exists.

I currently describe myself as a Meaning Of Life Coach, a moniker that encompasses the culmination of my training as a Certified Life Purpose Coach, Certified Life Story Coach, Certified Lifebook Leader, and Member of the Complementary Medical Association. I'll cover more about Lifebook in a later post as I believe it's important enough for its own space.

More than just the certifications I attained, I truly associate myself with the Meaning Of Life (MOL) because I have sought answers to this very question since I was about 8 years old.

The beginning of my search for the MOL was a byproduct of living at home with a strongly Christian mother and a sceptical dad. When the local vicar would drop in for a cup of tea my dad would, in good nature and with an inquisitive mind, spend hours questioning the logic of the Christian teachings. My mum sought answers in religion, my dad in esoteric and spiritual explorations. It took decades before I finally overcame the defences (limiting beliefs) I created because of my mum's excessive religious zeal.

At the age of 10, I received my first computer, a second-hand ZX81, and from day one I was hooked. With my avoidance of anything religious, the logic of computer programming immediately appealed to my mentality, and this logic along with a pragmatic attitude towards seeking Truth has given me a fascinating path of spiritual and non-physical discovery through the decades. Eventually, it led me here, but more of that in a moment.

After spending a few decades in the IT industries, providing educational IT support, web design, and software development, the materialistic and commercialistic industry finally triggered my social morals and I left. I recognised my need to begin helping people overcome the stresses that modern materialistic life has burdened us with, and my apparent saviour was to train as a Life Coach. But that wasn't to be either.

Like many Life Coaches, and indeed like many people who decide to go into business for themselves, the desire is to help the intended client with our unique skills and passion. It is rarely a desire to run a business, which indeed is what it quickly becomes - taking us away from our initial intent to serve humanity. Having trained and certified as a Life Coach I was thrown into the maelstrom of marketing, and I didn't like what I found there; that is not my vision of Life Coaching and my social morals kept putting roadblocks in my way of progress until I finally accepted that I was not prepared to leap onto that media merry-go-round.

During this exciting time though, I did create New Life Ninja see website my Life Coaching brand, which I totally love still and am not yet prepared to walk away from. It'll keep ticking over as a service offering from me while I progress Meta Life Mastery because I fully believe in my skills and unique perspectives to help coach people to overcome the unnecessary burdens of physical life. I believe this can be achieved by taking a larger holistic view of life, encompassing both physical and spiritual understandings in unique ways to enable each individual to explore their own life path and discover their own life purpose.

But I found many people were too burdened with everyday life, with the stresses of a materialistic and consumerist society, with just surviving in some cases, to have the energy or the opportunity to pursue the greater Meaning of their Life. After much soul-searching, after exploring the principles of niche markets, I decided to adjust my offering towards a new brand, one that became Reality Master, and the Reality Master website was born.

And so we come towards the close of my post. Ha, I'd be very surprised if there are any die-hard individuals that have made it this far, but nevertheless, it has been an opportunity to develop my skills in creating posts on hive and Ecency.

In fact, Reality Master is still a project in development, and it will continue alongside our Meta Life Mastery community. I'll describe more about my intents with our community in another post. For now, I'll just say that I see it as a synthesized culmination of all my other passions, and opportunity to share the totality of myself and the life wisdom I have gained along my own unique path of discovery. I hope it will be a journey of discovery for everyone out there too.
