Several years ago, when I was a middle-aged employee at the local theme park, some of my very young co-workers wanted to get a paycheck, but didn't want to actually work to get it. "Getting a job" and "working" seemed to be unrelated in their minds. Perhaps every generation has a percentage of youth who think that way.
