RE: Are the Old Folks Out of Touch?

in Economics2 days ago

I own guns, I have crypto, and I reject the legitimacy of political authority. It doesn't matter to them that I advocate peace and consent. I am literally an enemy of the State, and thus a threat. For now, I'm just an easily-dismissed kook on the web. How long will that last, though, as another cycle of political theater fails to placate the masses? Will the technocrats manage to steer society their way by propaganda and co-opting protests again like they did with the Tea Party and Black Lives Matter, or will we finally start to break some chains?

I doubt the masses will break the chains. Some of us have, and some more will at some point, but I guess the vast majority will just become useful idiots until civil unrest reaches unbearable levels and we start to see violence everywhere. To bad we've ran out of 'empty' spaces around the globe to settle and start from scratch with better values.
