Curso de Arte Conceptual: Lección 14 (Español – Inglés)

We continue in Lesson N° 14, with my assignments of the Conceptual Art Course.

I will continue with the topic related to Perspective in Drawing. Crucial subject, because the Perspective is in everything and it depends on it whether things look real or not.

In Lesson N° 12 I published my homework on One Vanishing Point. In Lesson #13 I gave the basic theory of Perspective with One, Two, and Three Vanishing Points.

For today, I will show you the assignments corresponding to Perspective with Two Vanishing Points.

When there are two (2) Fugue Points, they will always be located on the same Horizon.

The Fugue Points do not appear out of anywhere. If we look at landscape photos, we can intuitively see lines that cross the images and join or converge at some point in the distance. We don't have to invent them, but rather refine our eye to locate them and create the Perspective meshes that will help us draw better.

To carry out the tasks of this course, I recommend using free downloadable photographs (without copyright), obtained from web pages, such as https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ and other similar ones, since they have a huge amount of images and are of great quality.

Task No. 1: Find the Perspective of Two Vanishing Points in an Image and draw objects on it.

Step 1: Place the selected image in Photoshop.

Step N° 2: Find the two vanishing points and the horizon to create the perspective mesh.

Step N° 3: Draw objects embedded in the scene that make up a particular story.

Final work

Task No. 2: Find the Perspective of Two Vanishing Points in an Image and draw objects on it.

Final Work

Doing this work took me six (6) hours.

This task was done in Photoshop 2017 with my Star 03 V2 XP-PEN Graphics Tablet.

Seguimos en la Lección N° 14, con mis tareas del Curso de Arte Conceptual.

Continuaré con el tema relacionado con la Perspectiva en el Dibujo. Tema crucial, pues la Perspectiva está en todo y de ello depende que las cosas se vean reales o no.

En la Lección N° 12 publiqué mis tareas sobre Un Punto de Fuga. En la Lección N° 13 di la teoría básica de Perspectiva con Uno, Dos y Tres Puntos de Fuga.

Para hoy, te mostraré las tareas correspondientes a la Perspectiva con Dos Puntos de Fuga.

Cuando hay dos (2) *Puntos de Fuga, siempre estarán ubicados en el mismo Horizonte.

Los Puntos de Fuga no aparecen de la nada. Si observamos fotos de paisajes, podremos ver de forma intuitiva líneas que atraviesan las imágenes y que se unen o convergen en algún punto en la distancia. No debemos inventarlos, sino afinar el ojo para ubicarlos y crear las mallas de Perspectiva que nos ayudarán a dibujar mejor.

Para efectuar las tareas de este curso, recomiendo utilizar fotografías de descarga gratuita (sin derechos de autor), obtenidas de páginas web, tales como: https://www.pexels.com/ https://pixabay.com/ https://unsplash.com/ y otras similares, ya que tienen una inmensa cantidad de imágenes y son de gran calidad.

Tarea N° 1: Encontrar la Perspectiva de Un Punto de Fuga en una Imagen y dibujar objetos en ella.

Paso N° 1: Colocar la imagen seleccionada en Photoshop.
