I'm writing this post to hopefully kick-start something I described here.
So I looked back in my archive of posts to find this guide, which can be useful to anyone new to Steem and interested in blogging, and with a basic understanding of a blogging interface on Steem, like steemit.com, steempeak.com, busy.org etc.
To answer the question in the title, yes, I wrote a guide about three months ago called 6 Steps for Writing Content For Beginners on Steem. I hope it will prove useful to you, if you read this post for the blogging tips.
If you wrote a guide on this topic, please share it in the comments below. It's certainly a subject which can be covered from different angles. I'd be honored to add helpful materials to the new SteemHelp community.
In the end, a little apologize to my regular readers. I weighted if I should create an alt or use the main account for this kind of content, created with the purpose of revitalizing training material and adding it to SteemHelp.
I decided to use the main account for a few reasons:
- for its reputation; a tutorial recommended by a new alt with no reputation will likely be ignored by most people, including those who know reputation system has been gamed intensively
- I have enough alts, I only actively use a few of them -- so one more alt would be a waste of a claim ticket
- Alts will start to become less relevant after communities launch.
And finally, some people may still be... shy in promoting their own guides on SteemHelp (for free and likely for long term, in case of useful, well-written and updated materials). If you are in this situation, keep an eye @steemhelp-qa. You will soon find opportunities to help by sharing other people's guides.
Great information had to reblog it.
Thanks Bradley, appreciate it!

Does the entire training module on content creation in CTP count ;)
Great stuff man!!!
It counts of course! :)
But I need a link to a post or something like that. Speaking of which, you wrote some pretty amazing posts on this subject Jon. Do you have one you prefer? I'd like to add it to the guides index for content creation. :)
