Thank you, yes it is not a textile, it is a cellulose (biopolymer) and has a potential. It is not as durable as leather but it has its own charm, if it is ooked after it will last a long time. Happy New year to you too! 🎉

Yes, you could, or add something in the liquid while fermenting to increase the tensile strength; I plan on experimenting with that as I have a few things in mind that could make it more durable.
