Despite the fact that we all know death is inevitable and that at one point in time or another we'll all die and bid the world farewell, you'll still see people on a daily basis go to work so they can hustle to earn enough money that can be used in purchasing different earthly necessities that'll make life easier. And seeing this happen, we can't help but wonder why people still go through all of these, knowing fully well that when they're dead, someone else will be the one to reap the fruit of our labor. I'm no exception to these, and that's why below I'll be talking about the reason for my actions despite the awareness of the death loop in the corner.
We all know earth isn't our permanent place, and that has been made evident through the lives of various people around us whom we've lost to the cold hands of death, and with this awareness, it's expected that everyone should just fold their hands and expect death to come for them as well, but that isn't the case because people seem to just get past the feeling of loss and keep living their lives, and this has made many people wonder why. Personally, the reason behind my actions isn't far-fetched, because firstly, no one knows when they'll die, so what if you still have fifty years to live? Will you fold your hands and do nothing for all those periods?
Certainly you won't want to fold your hand for that long, because no one will cater to your needs, knowing fully well that you have the capability to do it yourself but choose not to because you're expecting death. Even the Bible said whoever doesn't work doesn't deserve to eat, so working is part of our essence in life. Even the first man created was tasked with the responsibility of tending for the earth and the plants and animals therein, so why shouldn't we do the same now that the work has even evolved to a point where you need money to survive? And aside from money, you also need various earthly things that'll make your life comfortable and give your children ease in their life journey.
That being said, that's to tell that another reason why I still keep working is so I can have a comfortable life while I'm still here on earth, and another is so that I can put different things in place that'll make my children have a soft landing here on earth. I've seen how difficult life can be when you don't have some things, and I don't want my kids to go through the same thing, so me working is for the sake of my children and family so that even when I'm gone, they'll have something to fall back on, and it won't be like their dreams and ambitions will be brought to a halt because death snatched me off the earth.
So that's about it on the reason why I'm still working and go each day to gather earthly possessions despite the fact that I'm aware that death can come at any point in time. I can't fold my hands and say I won't do anything till death comes; if I do that, I know I'll be the one to suffer the consequences, so rather than do that, it's best I make the most of life while I'm still around.
