On several occasions I've not only read books on the earth or our universe having another dimension, but I've also seen it in movies, and these various outlets have portrayed it in different lights that could either make me want to check it out and explore that other dimension or make me just want to stick with the dimensions I'm already used to so as to avoid a story that touches my yarn to explore new dimensions. Well, that's about it. If a portal that can take me to another dimension shows up, will I go or will I stay? In this article below I'll state my opinion and why I've formed such an opinion.

Like I said above, different platforms have shown another dimension in a different light, and those ways make it both intriguing and scary. Take, for instance, a KDrama series I watched that made the second dimension seem enticing to visit. In the movie, the portal was on a moving train, and those who know the hack cross to the other side. The other dimension was showcased like a replica of our world, with another us living their life in their own way. Being able to visit such a dimension sounds amazing and more like an adventure to me, and I would gladly want to explore or even possess the portal that can take me there at will.
While the other movie that shows another dimension showcases it as a terrifying sight, and then there's the TV series Stranger Things, which shows going to another dimension as an avenue to not only see terrifying creatures but to also be possessed, hunted, and killed by these creatures. Watching that movie made me not want to go near anything that looks like a portal, not to mention visiting another portal, and my reason for that isn't far-fetched; the TV series has shown a glimpse of the other dimension that is so terrifying that I just don't want to experience it.

So what then will I do, given how those two movies show another dimension in a different light? Well, the truth is that as much as I love to explore and go on adventures, it's worth noting that I won't want to visit another dimension other than the one I live in presently, and my reasons might sound kind of awkward, but then it is what it is. You see, I'm an African, and I believe we've different dimensions and realms where strange things occur and where only the powerful in dark magic or witches can visit, and I won't want to go to such places and become a sacrificial lamb all because I want to explore new dimensions.

The terms you used here are so funny. Sacrificial lamb? Being an African?😂😂
I haven’t watched stranger things and my views on this topic are limited to kdramas, lol. So, it’s definitely a yes for me. I’m exploring that universe😂
Some of the stories makes us want to explore other dimensions and some makes us us want to stick to what we already know.
Me too, because when such things occurs with experience and belief I would have a lot of questions
Huhm, well I love and respect your choice. Even though for me I would love to explore.
Still, I get your point, because some things are better left unknown...for our safety and peace.
Thanks for sharing.

Omo, going on an adventure in another realm is very risky. In this situation it is even worse, as you are totally ignorant of what lies there. Sticking where we know is just the best option.
