Greetings!
Marriage as we all know is an institution of God and because of this, it's to be honored. The Holy Bible even let us know that it's an honorable thing to get married.
Also, in one of the scripture verses in the book of proverbs, the bible made us understand that “if a man finds a good wife, he's found favour in the sight of God.” Meaning, marriage is not just an ordinary thing but a thing of God that's divine.
Having said a lot about marriage, i will like to discuss more about the topic which is all about, “marriage fever.”
As it's been defined in the topic setup, marriage fever is something that we now live with as a growing up adult now and this is because when people believe it's time for you to get married, they will not stop at disturbing you to wanting to know if you're ready or not, or maybe you have someone you are going out with or not.
Although, this might seem as a disturbance or encroachment on one's private life, but to me, it's all bound out of love. And as my people used to say, “if it's time for a child to have a hoe, he must have a hoe.” Which means that my people believe that when it's time for a child or a growing adult to have a wife or husband he or she must have one.
However, as good as marriage is or let me say as nice as people might be towards encouraging one to get married, one thing that one must do and that I have done overtime is that i have not allowed myself to be put under pressure and this is because marriage is not something that one would just rush into just because of peer pressure or family pressure and aside from this, people getting married ahead of me doesn't mean I too will not get married or even have my own children.
One thing that must always be at the back of our mind as singles is we must choose right. Choosing right must be our major priority ahead of choosing fast.
I have seen people choosing fast but ended up divorced and I have seen people choosing right and enjoying their marriage.
Although not everyone in this category gets it wrong or right as I have said, we should be convinced to choose right and not confused to choose wrong just because of marriage fever.
One thing is that as for all of us that desire a good home, we will surely get it if we exercise patience and wade off pressure from every quarter.

Even with the pressure, it's is not something that we just rush into without being fully committed
Most rushed things often end in disaster. The problem with most people is age, they feel they are getting older and perhaps, the right person won't like them if they are above 30.
The problem most people have is their entire knowledge about marriage is deficient. If someone loves you, and what's to settle with you, forget about age it won't be a matter.
All this rushing up and down is due to lack of understanding.
