One thing that i have not seen people do is to recollect everything that has happened to them maybe good or bad, although, we have some with retentive memory, but not everything that a retentive memory can save most especially, those events that happened when we were too small which we cannot remember.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “a world where our history can be recorded and rewatched.”
Well, if there's a world where our history can be recorded and rewatched, I would like to be in that world. Although, to some such a world to them might be a source of distraction as some people only believe in going forward and not looking backwards.
However, for someone like me, looking into my past memories should not be a problem nor an hindrance to me as I am the type that believes in connecting my past to my future and also walking my past into my present, making something substantial out of it.
So, if there's a way or world where past memories can be recorded, saved and rewatched, then it would sincerely be of help to me to go back to my past memories, look at where I got it right and make do with the principle that helped me to getting it right back then and then use it for my future plans and endeavors. This would be of no distraction to me, but of great benefits.
In addition, being able to rewatch where I got it bad or wrong in my past memories would also help me to avoid such a step that prompted my mistakes in the past and this going forward would be a guide to my taking the right steps.
In conclusion, the bottom line of this is that a world with a recorded history which is to be rewatched would be of greater importance to me than distraction.
