The Real Reason We Work.

First off, I would like to say that the kind of life we live while on earth really matters, the good deeds/acts of kindness we rendered will speak for us, also the people we show love to without expecting anything in return. In short the love we gave out also will speak.

Now, I've seen a lot of people engage in different things just so to make ends meet. People stress, labor and do all sort of work just so to be able to cater for themselves and their family. Long last, we find this people going to the great beyond without going with a single thing. None of the things they've ever worked for goes with them.

Even still, we/I still find myself waking up each and every morning, going to work, running after bikes. I still find myself taking orders from customers who want to buy wears or make frames. I still find myself hustling around as if it all depends on how much work I am able to do. Why do I have to keep doing all of that, why do I have to keep going, why do I have to keep sweating, why do I have to keep on hustling when even the preacher himself had made it clear in his book that, "vanity upon vanity, all is vanity."

I really have a lot to say, but words are kind of failing me, I actually don't know why though, maybe it's cause of how simple yet deep the topic is to me, or I can't just find the best words to comprehend my thoughts.

But then, from all what I've seen and experienced in life, from all what I've been through, I've come to see and realize that none of us no matter how rich or how much we are trying to make money, none of us is gathering those wealth because we think we will love forever. We all know we all know would go someday. The reason why we keep doing all of these and try to get her wealth is to make life soft for us. Life can come at us at anytime, with anything. And money happens to be one of the biggest solutions to the things life might throw at us, aside death itself. Thinking back at the time that life came at me and I was very very strong, it got to a time that we exhausted and sell all that we could, my life was barely handing on, but then, it was still more money that was needed, we borrowed, received help and all, and here I am today. What if we hadn't gathered, what if those that borrowed or dashed us hadn't gathered.

Nobody likes to be broke, nobody likes poverty, we all want to have wealth. And just before I began writing, I watched a short video where a woman was talking about the popular saying that, "money doesn't buy happiness." Then she asked a question, "what does being broke buy?" "Being broke come with stress, and all. There's nothing noble in being broke." Those and more were her words. And if truth, being wealthy will put you in a position to make choices, to love, to help, to really live and not just surviving.

I read my Bible a lot, and there's the place where Christ himself said, "store up treasures in heaven." Now, what are those treasures he's talking of? Well, this isn't a Bible class or discuss. But then, did he say, "Store up treasure I heaven and do nothing here on earth." No. So, even to store up in heaven, we need to work here. It's not about gathering wealth on earth, it's about how we make use of earth and what we allow it turn is into.

I work hard, and that's so I could be able to allow my mum rest from all her years of hardwork, to come through for my siblings, to be able to help even strangers out and also to be able to cater for my own future family. No need arguing about it, we will definitely leave it all behind at the end. But what we did with that which we worked all out lives for, what we did we all that we gather, that's what will stay and live forever.
