Drax: The Stranger From Another World.

Now, let's begin to continue from where we stop.

I woke very early that Saturday morning, it was an holiday period and most of my neighbors has traveled for the Christmas celebration. Well, I had decided to stay back and enjoy my rest, cause resumption comes with stress, and traveling for Christmas as well promise to be stressful. So, it's just better I stay back and enjoy the quietness of everything.

I went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face, then I stepped out, it was still very early, around 5.am. I had the morning planned out already, I would go out for exercise at exactly 5, return 30minutes later to shower and rest a little. Then cook and step out to get some sun on my body, I heard early morning sun is vitamin D, I don't know how true that is though. I just took few steps around the compound when I heard a sound , the sound was coming somewhere around my neighbors little farm. I was shocked, the gate is locked, our fence is tall so goats or whatever couldn't have come in. And my neighbor has traveled, I was the one who escorted them to the gate very early the day before, bade them goodbye and locked the gate.

I never knew what was awaiting me was something I would never have thought nor dreamt of...an alien. My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I saw it. I didn't know at first what it was, everywhere was still dark and you know how NEPA could be with light. Then I saw it flashing some light, I had almost shouted. But then, I stepped a little back to see what exactly it is.

Even though it was still dark, I could see the shining, silvery, big headed thing getting up. It's two eyes popped out as if it was going to fall off, I stood there frozen and it froze immediately it saw me too. I managed to pull up all the courage in me together and asked, "w...who ar...ar...are you please?" Don't judge me please, you wouldn't have asked anything better than that as well 😁.

"Sorry to scare you, human." He took a pause then continued, "I'm Drax from Eliento."

Sorry to scare me? with that voice of yours sounding so loud like a cracked home theater. Well, where's the courage to say that.

It had stood up now, it looked like everything I've been seeing in the movies, big head, big eyes, no shape, looking 🤦...at that moment, everything in me was already screaming, "run for your dear life." "Shout for help......." But I couldn't, I see him struggling, he had an injury very close to his left eye and another around his knee.

"Are you a threat to me" I asked.

"I see you as one" it responded.

"Can I help you.... promise you won't harm me."

"We don't make promises," he said voice cracking and thundering at the same time. "We give you our word and we stand by it." He concluded.

"Hmmmmmm"

I went in to the little room by the gate that housed a room where different things is been done, it's the generator house, but over time it has been turned into more than that. I went in and took my neighbors toolbox, and with the help of my phone I helped him the little way I could, even though he gave all the directions and guidance on what to do, what to improvise for and how to fix him. My hands kept shaking, because it does felt ridiculous, but then......

While doing all of those, he tried hiding the pain by telling me certain things about himself, his family and his type, how they see humans as a threat, how I've kind of proved that wrong, how he would make sure to tell his family when he returns. After about an hour plus, I was done, it was already done minutes to 7. He got up, checked something around its neck and it gave a vibrating sound.

"You tried, I hope we get to meet again." He said.

I just stood there shivering, what if he decides to harm me now..... I was still lost in thought when I heard the vibrating sound again, he was standing in the air now, I was amazed. He moved a bit near and hit my head with his, then smiled. It felt as if my head would break off, I guess that was his way of saying "thank you."

"So, would you like to remain here or go back to your planet" I asked.

"I can't survive here, if I leave now, I will still catch up with my peers." He responded.

"Ohhhh, you're not the only one?" I asked.

He waved off the question and said, "You amaze me, and it shows how brave you are," he sighed, looked me in the eyes and then continued, "humans aren't the types to be this calm."

He just smiled and in few seconds was up in the sky.

I couldn't help thinking if it was a dream or not. But then, it just so happen to be real, it was then I realized that aliens may only look strange, but then we humans may be the real threat we think they are.
