There are times I want my imagination to take the wheels while writing but my logical reasoning wouldn't allow it. I'm a fan of safety first, from saying this you already have the idea of the angle I will be penetrating this topic. There are things we humans fail to understand and we eventually end up endangering ourselves due to our curiosity. We tend to feel the need to act brave and have empathy for things that could end our lives in an heart beat.
I have never met an alien before I pray I don't. The possibility of other living beings existing outside earth is worrisome enough for me because we have lot of wild stuff on earth to deal with, so I don't really have the space in my mind to start worrying about aliens. The reason is quite simple, despite the level of advancement of humans in research, science and technology, there are things we still don't know about our surroundings. We humans as living beings, we still haven't discovered everything there is to discover about ourselves.
Now I want you to think about this question careful before I proceed, if we know so little about ourselves, how much do we know about aliens? The existence of aliens have always been a good plot for movies, which means there are fictional beings given life due to our imaginations, just like the existence of dragons. Let say I allow my imagination to go wild for a minute and I find myself looking at an alien in my own house, will I try to interact with it?
I believe I just asked myself a wrong question, the first question I should ask is, what will be the first thing I would do? I will run like a mad person 😂. You still don't understand, an alien in my comfort zone, why on earth would I want to interact with it? It is like seeing a tiger in my room and start asking what are you doing here? - you must be joking.

There are a lot of thought that would cross my mind in a matter of seconds, the first is, how on earth did sn alien enter inside my house? Of all places why my own house? Not even in the bush, in my own house, and you think I will try to talk to it, are you kidding me? Why on earth would I do that? We are talking about a specie with an unknown origin, it is like a ticking time bomb.
I don't even know how this creature would perceive other beings, what if our own language is the opposite of theirs and I find myself saying the wrong thing that might piss "it" off. I had to use the word "it" because how on earth am I going to know if it is a male or female, my vocabulary doesn't consist wordings appropriate for aliens.
Seeing such a being inside my house means one of two things, it is either the alien is lost or it is on a mission but I wouldn't be asking any questions because I would already be running so fast, faster than the speed of light. I wouldn't allow myself to be devoured by an unknown specie just to satisfy my curiosity. Communication can come after I have alerted the authorities and the alien has been placed in a protected space.
Some of you might say, what if it doesn't look harmless - that is true. But for me to know it is an alien, it definitely means it looks weird and from my standing point, anything that looks weird tends to do weird stuff, whatever that weird stuff might be, I wouldn't let it happen to me.
