I have this question in my mind every time, like why is it me?, why should it be me? I am the second born in the family, and I have four younger siblings who are much taller and fatter than me. Like how in the world does nature want me to feel? My siblings are really looking like they are older than me, and this is not always funny. Not to talk of those times we walk on the road and I will be called the last born, oh wow! Last born indeed.
If I had my way, I would make myself taller and fatter so that I would not be called the last born anymore. I remember that one day my siblings and I went out to get something. I was feeling so small, and they were calling me a big sister, and those people who could not mind their business started asking why I was called a big sister. Being that I was the last born, my siblings burst into a weeping laughter. The look on my face made them leave without saying anything.
If I had the opportunity to change one part of myself, I would make myself very fat and tall, but since I cannot change it, I have decided to accept it like that and try to be normal and not feel bad. I am short and do not talk, and some of the time people think I do not deserve some of the achievements I have, but that does not make me stop striving to be outstanding in whatever I am doing. I may be very short, slim, or small, but trust me, you need to meet me in person and know how old and special I am. I can't be in your life and not affect you. I strive so hard to succeed, and sometimes I always like not getting help from people so that they won't say they did one or the other for me.
Since I cannot change my statue, I accept it and try to make other people see the reason to be short, small, and slim. If you are short and slim, you will not grow old very fast; it will take a long time for you to grow old, as nobody will know that you are getting older. Sometimes I tell people my age, and they agree with me, saying that I am smaller. I can achieve a lot of things without looking like it, and some of the time I attract attention a lot. People see what I do, and they are challenged because they would not believe that I can do such because of how small I look, not knowing that I am a big person.
Now I don't stress trying to argue with people that I am older than my siblings; I only succeed in what I am doing, and they see it for themselves.
Do not feel bad for the things you cannot change; be yourself and be outstanding in whatever you are doing. You are special the way you are!
