today was a lot for me, well I learnt true leadership isn't about office and position but rather its about an act of service to your followers...
I am the CLO of the lodge were I stay and on resumption of office I decided immediately i was going to fix something that has never been done or attempted by previous administration...
there has been an issue of water at an extension lodge were other corpers stay, they had a tank but its been there for years and were we are water is an issue these corp members been buying water all along...
on resumption I decide I was going to fix the tank for them so whenever it rains they can have water. I had a meeting with my guys about doing that today, somehow they were very reluctant about doing it. but somehow I was able to charge them get everyone and we went out to do it...
I learnt the grace of teamwork today. somehow someone brought an idea and collectively we were able to raise the tank fix it and set it for the corp members there....
I literally knew this was impossible if I hadn't took up the lead and others follow.
I learnt an act of true leadership today and I felt happy that together we were able to get it fixed it...
