NOT EVERYONE WITH A TATTOO IS A VILLAIN…

I grew up in an environment filled with tattoo lovers, these people didn’t just love tattoos with their mouth and eyes, they loved it enough to have it drawn on different parts of their body. It was quite hard relating with their likes in the past, the reason for this is because I have always considered anyone with tattoo or tattoos to be a bad person, back then I was compelled to see anyone with a tattoo to be a bad influence. This was the perspective I had about tattoo in the past, everything started changing when I started relating more with them, i decided to mingle with them to understand the reason why they choose to have it on them…

Growing up in that environment didn’t really matter to matter to me at first, i was sure to never get influenced by them. I might be friends with them but I promised to never have any tattoo on my body for as long as i am alive and sane. little by little I started forming relationships with them, the relationship i built with them overtime me made me ask them this question one day. I asked two of them to give me reasons ”why they love tattoos and even got them drawn on their body”, the response i got from them wasn’t convincing enough, the two of them said they just loved and decided to draw it for fun…

Their response made me more determined to never have it drawn on my body. The people in my country made me hate tattoo big time, most of the people who had tattoos on their body in my community back then never drew something meaningful, they either had butts, boobs or their names tattooed on them. The name tattoo was good but the others were just annoying and meaningless, this was the impression they gave out…

I hated tattoos not because it taints the blood but also because of the pain that comes from it, I don’t have to experience the pain firsthand to know how painful it can be to first timers…

Watching Hollywood movies really changed me big time, it didn’t just change my views and perspective about tattoos, it also made love tattoos. Well, I didn’t love it enough to have it on me, but then I loved it enough to have it drawn on someone, especially if the tattoo is something sensible and meaningful…

I have been seeing Hollywood movies for many years now, Hollywood movies aren’t just part of my favorite genre of movies, they are also my most enjoyed movie, I love their tattoos, they are blessed with talented and skillful artists. Prison Break is a great example of what I’m talking about, MICHEAL SCOFIELD made me love tattoos the more. In summary, i am a tattoo lover now. I love it but I don’t love it enough to have it on me…

Do Tattoos say a lot about a person’s personality??…

Honestly, if you were to ask me this particular question 10-15 years ago, i would have given a much more expected answer, but now that i know better and what I know now has changed my views about those with tattoos…

I have friends with tattoos. They are old friends, which means i have known them for many years now. They’ve been great human beings both before they had their tattoos and after they had it. Many people have been forced to judge them badly for different reasons, the fact is they aren’t to be blamed…

This thought is just like an auto-response to anyone with tattoo, the fact is that if you don’t get to know them you won’t know who they truly are and the kind of person they are…

We have always been taught to always judge a book by its cover, and that is the mistake many of us make. The fact is that we shouldn’t always judge a book by it’s cover, sometimes the content of the book and the cover itself are always telling a different story…

In conclusion, tattoo is not a bad thing, we shouldn’t see those with tattoos as a eyesore, we shouldn’t judge them before we get to know them, just as how the world is filled with good and evil people, we have them in bulk in that area too. Let’s learn to respect and love everyone equally and not be all judgmental…
