Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
Our world is fast changing; things are no longer like the way they used to be.
Morality level has degraded; people have lost the fear of God in them totally. Teenagers do crazy stuff and post it on the Internet without minding if such content would get to their parents or not.
Young people would rather listen to their friends and internet influencers than listen to the wise counsel of their parents and guardians.
Gone are the days that when a child goes astral, the blame goes to the parents for their inefficiency to train up their child. This teenager has chosen on their own to be a baddie.
Young people have many things, and people are training them now, and this gets worse when they leave the confines of their parents house. There's just so much a parent can do in training their kids.

I don't think there's any parent who wants to hear that their teenage daughter is pregnant, mostly when they are eagerly waiting for the news of admission into the university.
The news of the pregnancy will send shock waves into the parent's system.
If my daughter, who is awaiting admission, gets pregnant, I definitely won't be happy about it. I would be shocked, and different thoughts would run through my mind, but I won't send her packing out of the house. Reason being, she has already made a mistake, so I wouldn't want to make a mistake of pushing her farther into the world.
I would sit her down and make her feel relaxed by creating a safe space for an open conversation. Try to find out what happened and who the child's father is. Doing this doesn't mean I am happy with the whole situation, but I am trying to prioritize my daughter's well-being and keep her safe.
I will speak to my husband about it; after that, I will take her to the hospital to know if she and the child are doing well.
.After that, we would continue to wait for the admission. If she gets admission into school, we would still continue with our initial plan; she would go to school with the pregnancy. I am not that type of mother that would take my daughter to the village to hide her from people because I don't want people to see her and start gossiping or because I am ashamed or embarrassed of what she did.
And no, it's not because I want to embarrass her or deal with her; I just want her to know that every decision she makes in life has consequences.
So she would still do almost all the things she used to do. I would make sure I teach her all she needs to do as a responsible mother.
As a parent, one of my responsibilities is to help her navigate life on this unexpected journey. The least I can do is to support her emotionally and physically.

Very true, getting pregnant out of wedlock is not a death sentence. You can still go on to live a beautiful life after a mistake.
Thank you for this awesome piece
True, the mistake is not the end of your life
This is very brave of you and I admire your thoughts on this issue. There's a proverb that states that "you don't throw the baby along with dirty bath water"
This makes me realize that no matter the mistake a child makes he or she should not be thrown away or abandoned because doing so would endanger that child and even lead them to do worse.
African parents need to learn this fact
I agree with you, I have never been a fan punishing and embarrassing a girl child because of pregnancy out of wedlock. African parents has a lot to learn
Right 👍
Seems like you're not an African parent because ah! some parents will beat the hell out of the child and even bundle her to the man's house. But just like you said, the mistake has been done so the least a parent can do is show love and support to the child and help her fulfill her dreams.
Haha 😂😂😂
My belly ooo 🤣😂🤣
No be small bundle
Lolz
!DOOK
You just got DOOKed!
@luchyl thinks your content is the shit.

Learn all about this shit in the toilet paper! 💩
Lol, am not just an African parent but a Nigerian at that 😂. It's all thanks to my mom, she made us see things differently, my mom would have done same and more, if I had gotten pregnant out of wedlock
Thank you for stopping by 🤗
Wow...I admire your brave approach to this issue. It can get parents crazy but the best solution is never to worsen the situation but allow her pass through life lessons and so, she will advise herself.. still help her achieve her dream in life regardless
Thank you ma'am, I really appreciate your warm comment and support 🙏 ☺️
Indeed the best is to show the child some love, the did has already been done
Absolutely
