RE: Nysc posting saga.//.trusting the process.

I understand how you must feel. I felt very demoralised and disheartened to learn that I had been posted to Rivers State. It was too far from places that I knew—Lagos, Ogun, Oyo—and it was also all too sudden to prepare for. I didn't smile for most of the time I was trying to prepare for it. Guess what now? I feel very grateful and privileged to be where I am now.

I mean, it's not exactly an exciting thing to travel on the road for about 12 hours and more. The experiences I have now make me feel thankful, however. I do miss home, but I am feeling very different and learning entirely new things by being here.

Don't think much about the possible hassles you may experience with this posting to Imo. It'll pass. You'll enjoy being at camp. You'll be excited to meet new people from all over the country. It'll be a great time. And wherever you find yourself after camp—if you do not redeploy—try to embrace it and find the good in it.

I wish you the best, Rayo!

PS: Make sure to carry very good powerbank and earphones.

Ok, thanks for commenting.
I'm actually going to redeploy. My mum wants me to redeploy to Lagos. She believes that I would not get a good job/PPA in Imo.
So, I have to redeploy but personally, I don't mind staying in Imo.
I believe that what everybody calls the worst place can actually turn out to be the best place for me. Like I don't have to follow the crowd, right?
And thanks for the advice too
