GAMEWEEK 8 HIGHLIGHTS
Gameweek 8 was an interesting week of football. We had a total of 27 goals in 10 matches. The Burnley vs Chelsea match had the highest goal tally for the week (with 5 goals). Raheem Sterling bagged a goal and two assists, earning him a total of 16 points making the player with the most points for Gameweek 8. Van de Ven and Salah come in second place with 15 points.
It was another disappointing week for Haaland owner as the poacher failed to get a goal or assist in their loss against Arsenal. Another FPL favourite, Son Heung-min, did not perform as expected with no goal contributions. This puts Salah owners as the winners of Gameweek 8.
Renas Smk was the best team of Gameweek 8 with a total of 120 points. The average point for the week was 44 which is surprising considering the number of goals scored. In the Hivenaija League, the Skander TN takes the lead earning 68 points in Gameweek 8 and a total of 520 in the last 8 games.

PREVIEW OF GAMEWEEK 9
Going into game week 9, Haaland still remains the most-owned FPL asset. 87.6% of FPL teams own the Norwegian striker, however considering his bad spell for the past 2-3 games, many are questioning giving him the captain badge. Also, Manchester City faces a tough Brighton side that have been able to take points from the likes of Liverpool.
Salah, Son and Maddison are also favourites for the captain badge. With less challenging fixtures, these players are expected to have decent returns at the end of Gameweek 9. Another honourable mention is Ollie Watkins who has a total of eleven goal contributions for Aston Villa.
It is also important to point out that due to the activities during the international break, most players are returning to their respective clubs fatigued. This might impact their performance this week.

Well I had a rotten week last week with my wild card played and this week I noticed I did not save my team haha so had Andersen on the pitch when I had subbed him with Burn of Newcastle plus another balls of a job haha!
