GAME WEEK 6 HIGHLIGHTS

Game week 6 was an exciting week for FPL football with most of the top FPL assets performing well. Over 97 per cent of the FPL managers captained Haaland who bagged 6 points. The second-most-capped player, Son Heung-min, more than doubled Haaland's points. With 2 goals and bonus points, the Korean international scored a total of 14 points making him the second highest ranking player for Gameweek 6 alongside Mitoma and Tarkowski.

Kieran Tripper won the Player of the Week with a whopping 18 points from his hat trick of assists. Meanwhile, Julian Alvarez wins the Flop of the Week title after being the most transferred (in) player for Gameweek 6 with only 1 point.

It’s Raining Men had the most points of the week–142 points which puts him in the 526,071th position in the overall rank (of 9,998,953 teams). In the HIveNaija Fantasy League, Team Dankaka top the table with 407 points. Coming second is Cde Red with 403 points, and Testing FC is third with 393. GAMEWEEK 7 PREVIEW

FPL managers are to select their squad before the Gameweek 7 deadline of 11:00 BST on Saturday 20 September. There are a few things to consider before submitting your final draft.

Double Gameweek.

Luton and Burnley play two games this week. Carlton Morris from Luton is one of the favourites for the captain band in Gameweek 7 with an average of 5.2 points per match (ppm). Another Luton player to consider for your FPL Draft is Issa Kabore. He is currently owned by 6.9% of FPL managers, however, this is a risky option considering Luton has not won a match this season in the EPL.

Injury Concerns

There are several injury concerns in Gameweek 7. Some of FPL's top assets picked up injuries in the previous week which means they may not start or may come in as subs later on in their respective matches. Below is a list of high-profile players with (potential) injuries:

  1. Maddison
  2. Son
  3. Saka
  4. Botman
  5. Isak
  6. Saliba

Captaincy

Erling Haaland remains FPL Managers’ favourite with 92% ownership. Manchester City visited Wolves were the Norwegian scored a hat-trick during the visit. Mo Salah comes in second. The Egyptian King has had a great start this season with 4 goal contributions and has a decent chance away against Tottenham. Other honourable mentions include:

  1. Son
  2. Saka

Hope the information in this post helps you draft your team for Gameweek 7. Also leave a comment sharing your tips and strategies for this week's challenge.
