Welcome to another Fantasy football update where we share amazing stats and highlights on the English Premier League. Today we will be covering some of the results and highlights of Gameweek 1 and prospects for this new week.
The first week of fantasy football was interesting with Many teams surpassing the 50 points threshold. The average point for this week was 64 points which is pretty high by FPL standards. Ahmed bo7 bagged a total of 127 points to become the best player of the week.
When it came to individual player performance, surprisingly, Varane (a Manchester United Defender) had the most points (14pts) for Gameweek 1 followed by Halaand, Rodrigo and Isak all tied at 13 points. Below is a chart of the top 10 ranking players based on points:
There were disappointing moments in Gameweek 1 as most key players like DeBruyne and Gabriel suffered injuries during their matches. This impacted the team(s) of many FPL managers, and there are more cases of players picking up injuries during the week.
HIVENAIJA LEAGUE
At the end of gameweek 1 Newton FPL took the number one spot with 97 points. Hot Snow came in second with 86 points and is followed closely by dwayne16 and pending moderation who are tied at 83 points.

Gameweek 2 promises to be exciting with many interesting match fixtures. Below is a comprehensive list of matches for Gameweek 2:
