A gift for my dad.

I like receiving gifts and I like giving gifts. Gift is the act of giving, and it is even written in the Holy Bible that it is good to give a gift.

I would like to gift my father a gift this February because it would be his birthday 🎂 then and I will also want to use that medium to appreciate him for all he has done for me all this years. For being a good father to me.

I would love to give my father a pair of sandals because he likes sandals so much. I have never seen my dad with cover shoes ever since I was born, it is only sandals.

I want to give him that gift on his birthday which would come up on the 22nd of February,. I want to use that gift to tell him thank you for all he has done for me. I know it is not easy to train a child when you don't have much but my dad did that by giving me all that I need to make life easy for me.

We should know how some parents are, not wanting to train their children especially if the child is a girl, they will believe that the girl child will enjoy the money with the husband and forget about the family. But my daddy did not think like that, he made sure that he trained all of us to the best of his ability.

Giving my dad that pair of sandals will make both me and him very happy because whenever I see my dad it gladdens my heart, because my dad has been a father and mother figure to me ever since I lost my mum at a tender age though I have a stepmom but it will never be like my biological mother. I have others that are looking out for me but its never like being with my father.

I can still remember when I was in school and we will be asked to buy handout before you can submit assignment, I would call my dad and tell him and he will be like which one is very important, why he asked that was because there was not enough money to buy the books but at the end he will still come up with something just to make sure I am not left out.

Sincerely speaking, I really want to do that for my dad because it's been a while since I got something for him. I Know getting him a pair of sandals will not be enough for all he has done for me.

Gifts are one of the things that keep relationships strong and going. If someone gives you a gift it makes the person special and wanted. We feel special and honoured if the people we love appreciate us with gifts.

This year I also have others I would like to give gifts to because I have other special people in my life but the most special one is my dad ❤ ️ so I will take that as a priority before anyone. As it is written, it is better to give than to receive but I will also love to get a gift from someone because it will make me feel special and loved.
