GIFT OF FRIENDSHIP

Meet my friend "tiza",I met tiza in my first year at college, a good saying goes like "there is a friend that sticketh than a brother." The first time I saw tiza was at the front of my department in college, he was gisting with two beautiful ladies. The guy seemed open minded in his conversations, then I realized this guy was in the same department and level as mine. We had our first conversation and it was refreshing

When I was in college, I stayed in the hostel, in my lonely and free time I would vibe to my written and recorded songs. Those songs are mostly rap songs, so I tried to write something new. There he was, at the entrance of my door, tiza paid me his first visit. We spent quite some time that day, tiza was about to leave to see some other guys that stayed in the hostel, he told me he wanted to write a rap song with some other guys. "You Rap too!, I rap songs" that was a factor that got us closer.

Apart from the music, I have visited tiza's family house and lived with them for an extended period of time, I can remember having money issues and inability to pay light bills when I was living in a room with two friends, I moved over to tiza's home just to be okay from the whole drama and a landlord who cared less about the wellbeing of his tenants.

I and tiza complement each other in so many ways, tiza is the noise maker while I am the quiet one, we have our fights sometimes but what kept our friendship in the sands of time is love.

I would sit down with tiza and talk about what the future holds for us, tiza would say he is thinking about being a family man before his thirties. We talk about the ladies that dealt with us emotionally.

We also talk about our plans to sustain wealth, as education is not a guarantee to make wealth but one of the leverage. We came from different backgrounds, tiza was born in portharcourt and I was born in aba.

We emphasize about life from different views, and most times our views and beliefs are different. factors that influenced those views includes the loved ones in our lives and the departed loved ones.

I have argued with tiza about faith and home training. Tiza never wants to lose in an argument, tiza would state his facts and try to make me believe them. Sometimes we end up holding our views and beliefs to ourselves. Something spectacular about every conversation is there is always something new to learn, a truth to seek out and the ability to have patience towards each other

In my friendship with tiza I learnt that life is not complicated if we choose to be happy despite challenges,Tiza helped in making me a better version of myself.
