Farsightedness (or Hyperopia) is just like the name implies, a direct opposite of myopia.
It is a condition where distant objects appear clearly, while close objects become blurry.
This is due to refracted light rays forming an image behind the retina.( Check image)

Some of the risk factors responsible for causing Hyperopia include:
1.family history: if one or both parents are hyperopic, then their children are more likely to develop hyperopia
- Poor nutrition: a diet lacking vitamins A, C, and E increases the risk of hyperopia
- Medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension could lead to the development of hyperopia
