I hear what you're saying generally speaking about indigenous people being more in tuned with the land/Earth/Spirit. Unfortunately, systematically since colonization, many of them are so incredibly dependent upon the predatorial system and it's sadly ironic to watch them practice and protect the religion imposed upon them centuries ago. A Native American/Indian Bible beater/Jesus worshipper? What a sad display of the impact of the programming and indoctrination.
