I'm Going To Work Smarter Not Harder

Have you heard of the saying work smarter and not harder?
Here is what I mean.
It must be a bad month for the blog, my posts have been flopping.
It's hard to figure out what people like. Perhaps posting more than once will help me figure it out or at least give me ideas on what people like. Also helping me figure out what time is the best for posting. Posting when readers are not on Hive, actually having the site open on their computer/phone, could affect my post-performance.

Also, it's hard to tell if it's just a bad month for the blog. Sometimes you will have months where your views will be lower. My videos on YouTube STRUGGLE in May due to kids finishing up school etc and going back to school In August.

I've gotten harassed/bullied for 'low effort' content in the past. For example, the guy on steemit who harassed me for making steemit my "income stream"

I would prefer if people asked what I was doing, then I would explain I have a YouTube channel and I embed the videos.

I embed my Yt content because I wouldn't say I like threespeak's interface, I can't upload videos over 5GB past a certain length and I've had issues uploading, My videos do go over the 5GB limit. Also on YT, you can save my videos for later if you don't have time to watch

Maybe what was promoting my Let's Play content was that they thought it was a poorly made review or something.

I used Dbuzz to promote my TikTok content. I struggle to come up with an engaging title/description for Dbuzz.

I can combine my TikToks. Say I made a video explaining the Algorithm, I can combine the videos I did. I edited it before posting it on TikTok with TikTok's editor, which can be a threespeak video. While brainstorming ideas or while you wait for my next YouTube video,

And it's a better way to fill the void. Or combining my railfan edits into one video.

Or stream highlights. Maybe a highlight reel of my gameplay.

Using the content I filmed for TikTok or even Twitch highlights to my advantage for content while promoting my channel to people who might not know about it.

For example, the skits I filmed where I made fun of a man on YouTube who thought a train was stalking him (you had to be there when I was responding to his videos)

I combined them all for a video. I realized I could have tried this as a way to attract new viewers.

For me, I don't like putting my eggs into a platform when I don't know how successful it will be. Look at Steemit for example. it's not popping as it used to be.

There was a YouTube competitor called Videme. I didn't leave YT because I didn't know how successful the platform would be. They shut down after a year.
That's why I embed my content here. I don't know where these sites will be in 5 years.

I honestly prefer YouTube. However, the money won't be consistent.

Overall, the content ideas I explained in the video can help me while you wait for a YouTube video.

I don't upload on YouTube the way I used to. I will make a post about why I feel not having an upload schedule helped my channel.

You know what they say, don't knock until you try it.
