Los venezolanos nos reinventamos ante la crisis y descubrimos nuestros talentos ocultos (Esp/Ing)

Luego de sobrevivir a la crisis económica que sufrimos los venezolanos, muchos tuvieron que emigrar buscando una mejor calidad de vida, o al menos parecida a la que vivíamos aquí en Venezuela, cuando éramos felices y no lo sabíamos, sin embargo, los que nos quedamos tuvimos que ingeniárnosla para sobrevivir.

Muchos no se fueron por miedo a perder su patrimonio, otros esperando un cambio, yo particularmente me quedé por mi familia, ninguno quería emigrar y el dejarlos me afectaba emocionalmente.

After surviving the economic crisis that we Venezuelans suffered, many had to migrate in search of a better quality of life, or at least similar to the one we lived here in Venezuela, when we were happy and didn't know it, however, those of us who stayed had to manage to survive.
Many did not leave for fear of losing their patrimony, others hoping for a change, I particularly stayed for my family, none of them wanted to migrate and leaving them affected me emotionally.

Cómo buena venezolana, me active el modo creatividad y descubrí que tenía muchos talentos que no conocía y que aún por falta de tiempo y dinero no he desarrollado al 100 por ciento.

Descubrí que puedo ser buena dibujando aunque de niña no lo desarrolle y a veces siento que ya no tengo edad para eso.

Descubrí que puedo ser peluquera y ante la crisis comencé a cortarle el cabello a mi papá, a mi esposo y a mis hijos e incluso a mi hermano quien siempre dijo que ni loco pondría su cabeza en mis manos.

As a good Venezuelan, I activated my creativity mode and discovered that I had many talents that I didn't know about and that I still haven't developed to 100 percent due to lack of time and money.
I discovered that I can be good at drawing even though I didn't develop it as a child and sometimes I feel that I'm not old enough for that anymore. I discovered that I can be a hairdresser and in the face of the crisis I started to cut the hair of my father, my husband and my children and even my brother who always said that he wouldn't even put his head in my hands.

Los venezolanos hemos aprendido a reinventarnos ante la crisis, recuerdo que hace unos años, no se conseguía arroz, harina e incluso papeltoalet, pero aprendimos a hacer unas ricas croquetas de lentejas que muchos no sabíamos que existía, probamos la sardina en todas sus expresiones, desde empanizadas e incluso guisadas en olla de presión, aprendimos a reusar la comida en posteriores preparaciones, a preparar arepas de yuca y a cocinar el ñame de muchas maneras.

Durante la crisis el que tenía una mata de mango era un rey, comenzamos a sembrar en los patios de las casas y en los balcones. Yo tengo la fe y la convicción que mi país resurgirá y muchos de los que se fueron retornarán y vivirán mucho mejor.

Venezuelans have learned to reinvent ourselves in the face of the crisis, I remember that a few years ago, rice, flour and even papeltoalet were not available, but we learned to make delicious lentil croquettes that many of us did not know existed, we tasted sardines in all their expressions, from breaded and even stewed in a pressure cooker, we learned to reuse food in later preparations, to prepare yucca arepas and to cook yams in many ways.
During the crisis, whoever had a mango tree was a king, we began to plant in the patios of our houses and even on our balconies, I have the faith and conviction that my country will rise again and many of those who left will return and live much better lives.

Hay muchas cosas que ajustar, en Venezuela en este momento no hay desabastecimiento, pero aún vemos muchas cosas de lejos porque aún no hemos recuperado nuestro poder adquisitivo, ya aceptamos que estamos dolarizados y estamos activos con el precio del dólar, aun cuando antes nos escandalizábamos.

Aprendí en ensayo y error a hacer los dulces que antes compraba en la panadería, cultive la repostera que llevaba por dentro, e incluso emprendí en su momento con las tortas, preparo unos ricos golfeaos y roles de canela, aun cuando no me gusta la cocina.

There are many things to adjust, in Venezuela at the moment there are no shortages, but we still see many things from afar because we have not yet recovered our purchasing power, we already accept that we are dollarised and we are active with the price of the dollar, even when we used to be scandalised.
I learned through trial and error to make the sweets that I used to buy at the bakery, I cultivated the pastry chef in me, and I even started making cakes, I make delicious golfeaos and cinnamon rolls, even though I don't like cooking.

Hemos descubierto tantas cosas que ni sabíamos, la crisis nos alejó físicamente de nuestros seres queridos, pero a su vez nos fortaleció como personas.

Aprendí a reutilizar material de provecho y he conseguido resultados muy bonitos, puedo ser maestra de mis hijos, pastelera, panadera, artesana, peluquera, fotógrafo, maquilladora y todo lo que me proponga.

We have discovered so many things that we didn't even know, the crisis took us physically away from our loved ones, but at the same time it strengthened us as people.
I learned to reuse useful materials and I have achieved very beautiful results, I can be a teacher for my children, a baker, a baker, a craftswoman, a hairdresser, a photographer, a make-up artist and anything else I want.

Somos venezolanos, capaces de reinventarnos cada día y ver esperanza aún en nuestros días grises.
