El comienzo de la vida adulta | The beginning of adulthood (ESP/ENG)

De pequeña me emocionaba la idea de ir creciendo y es que ¿A quien no? Pensaba que la vida adulta sera más divertida y el poder de tomar mis propia decisiones quería que llegara pronto.
Noo María chiquita que estabas pidiendo jajajaj Nada es tan fácil como creía; Conforme voy creciendo sin duda las decisiones que tomo vienen junto a responsabilidades y la mayoría de la veces no estoy preparada para afrontar inesperadas situaciones difíciles de la vida.La vida adulta nos abre los ojos a muchas realidades que no conocíamos.

¡Que difícil se puso toda la vida después del kinder!

When I was little I was excited about growing up and who wouldn't be? I thought adulthood would be more fun and the power to make my own decisions I wanted it to come soon.
Noo Maria chiquita what were you asking for hahahahah Nothing is as easy as I thought; As I grow up without a doubt the decisions I make come along with responsibilities and most of the time I am not prepared to face unexpected difficult situations in life.

How difficult all of life got after kindergarten!

Aprendemos a demostrar nuestros sentimientos y en algunas ocasiones los dejamos completamente vulnerables, corriendo el riesgo de salir lastimados. Confiamos en personas que muchos casos no son lo que nosotros pensábamos.

We learn to show our feelings and sometimes leave them completely vulnerable, running the risk of getting hurt. We trust people who in many cases are not what we thought they were.

Entender y aprender a que tenemos que valernos por nosotros mismos. Conseguir un buen trabajo, ganar dinero, comprar nuestra propia casa y elegir a esa persona que sera nuestro compañero por el resto de la vida, sumando muchas otras cosas que queremos hacer antes de que haga tarde. Puede parecer abrumador,mucha tensión y decisiones para alguien que apenas esta descubriendo lo que es vivir y desea hallar su camino en este paseo llamado vida.

To understand and learn that we have to fend for ourselves. Getting a good job, earning money, buying our own house and choosing that person who will be our partner for the rest of our lives, plus many other things we want to do before it's too late. It can seem overwhelming, a lot of stress and decisions for someone who is just discovering what it is to live and wants to find their way on this ride called life.
