Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una reflexión sobre un tema que ha rondado por mi cabeza cierto tiempo, el hecho de perdernos por los grandes y diversos caminos de la vida, evolucionar, tropezarnos, triunfar en algunos y encontrarnos al final del camino. Un ciclo sin fín pero cada uno diferente al anterior.

Today I want to share with you a reflection on a topic that has been on my mind for some time, the fact of getting lost in the great and diverse paths of life, evolving, stumbling, triumphing in some and finding ourselves at the end of the road. An endless cycle but each one different from the previous one.

En muchas ocasiones recorremos caminos sin sentido alguno, intentando encontrar un tesoro o lugares que nos sean de importancia para nuestros recuerdos, nos solemos perder y aún así seguir, dejando una parte de nosotros en cada paso equivocado, creyendo que así llegaremos al indicado. Y encontraremos trozos que nos faltan, sin notar los que hemos dejado en el camino.

In many occasions we walk through paths without any sense, trying to find a treasure or places that are important for our memories, we tend to get lost and still go on, leaving a part of us in each wrong step, believing that this way we will reach the right one. And we will find missing pieces, without noticing the ones we have left on the way.

Es un tanto ilógico la manera en la que nos falta lealtad hacia nosotros mismos, cuando en el camino recorrido adoptamos una realidad falsa ante los demás, complaciendo-los y intentando engañar(nos), porque si, ahora todo se ha vuelto así, tanto en redes, como en la vida real, ves a gente rota y engañosa, así como tú también puedes ser una de ellas.

It is somewhat illogical the way in which we lack loyalty to ourselves, when on the way we adopt a false reality before others, pleasing them and trying to deceive(us), because yes, now everything has become like that, both in networks, as in real life, you see broken and deceitful people, just as you can also be one of them.

Romper y que te rompan en un mundo sin sentido alguno, esperar y que te esperen, andar a la deriva mientras inentas no perder a los demás pero perdiendote a tí, mientras se adoptan costumbres, pensamientos, ideas, decisiones ajenas con el fin de encajar, dejando atrás la esencia que en tí habitaba, formando una realidad que no quieres pero aceptas por ti mismo, muchas veces nos acostumbramos a las personas, lugares, rutinas sin importar el daño que causen en nosotros, y así vamos perdiendo un trozo de si mismo, dejando que nos rompan y con un martillo rompiendo todo aquello que construimos en algún momento.

Breaking and being broken in a meaningless world, waiting and being waited for, drifting while trying not to lose others but losing yourself, while adopting customs, thoughts, ideas, decisions of others in order to fit in, leaving behind the essence that lived in you, forming a reality that you do not want but you accept for yourself, many times we get used to people, places, routines without caring about the damage they cause in us, and so we lose a piece of ourselves, letting them break us and with a hammer breaking everything we built at some point.

Si me he perdido, ¿como me encuentro?, una pregunta que ronda mucho en la mente, intentando responderla una y otra vez, sin embargo, la respuesta la tenemos al frente, nos encontramos en esos lugares que nos transmiten paz, en esas canciones que amábamos escuchar, en esos brazos que nos encantaban abrazar, en esas decisiones firmes que solíamos tomar, en cada fragmento que dejamos de lado por cumplir con las expectativas ajenas, el arte de encontrarse a si mismo, lo sabrás cuando agarres el pincel de tu vida y comiences a pintar todo aquello que te genera paz, amor y tranquilidad, que mires alrededor y estés feliz con lo que hay en el interior, que la vida es cuesta arriba, pero la vista es genial, que es válido perderse, tropezar y llorar siempre y cuando estés decidida/o a volverte a encontrar, a borrar el lienzo y comenzar nuevamente.

If I am lost, how do I find myself? a question that haunts our minds a lot, trying to answer it over and over again, however, the answer is right in front of us, we find ourselves in those places that transmit peace, in those songs we loved to listen to, in those arms we loved to hug, in those firm decisions we used to make, in every fragment we left aside to meet the expectations of others, You will know the art of finding yourself when you grab the brush of your life and start painting everything that brings you peace, love and tranquility, when you look around and you are happy with what is inside, that life is uphill, but the view is great, that it is valid to get lost, stumble and cry as long as you are determined to find yourself again, to erase the canvas and start again.
