Disasters come in waves

So since January 2021, when I thought I'd had a mini stroke, I've had a CT, just last week an MRI with inconclusive results, many more tests to come.

Three days ago on Wed 3/16 I didn't feel well, mainly depression and I stayed in bed until after 12 noon.
At one point I heard something that sounded like a "WHUMP" sound that might have been a squirrel or limb on the roof, and unlike my normal self, I did not check my cameras, I certainly didn't get up to check.
When I did get up, I went to check the heat etc in the studio, then upon my return I found this:

On the wall directly in front of my car, is a solar powered motion light, and a video camera.
I found nothing on the camera footage.

From all I could see, the door had not even been opened, all the glass was INSIDE on the drivers seat.

On the phone, the cop said they were probably just looking for guns.
My extra set of car/house keys were right there in front of the gearshift, if they had rummaged just a bit, they'd have found all that.
So yesterday morning I sent a text out to all my nearby neighbors with these photos and news, so they could be aware and on the lookout.
Being good friends and neighbors, they started replying with:
"are you alright?"... "Did they steal anything?"... "did you see anything on your camera?"... "Did you try this? Did you call them?" all well meaning of course, but they were all coming back to back it seemed, WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO GET THINGS FIGURED OUT.

I lost my mind, and snapped at two of them (in text) the one neighbor had never heard the term POPO (I'd told her I had called the popo and reported the break in) so I had to stop what I was doing and explain that it was a term for POLICE, that had been around for YEARS,
"I said 'where have you been? Living under a rock?"'

She said she would never bother me again.
The other neighbor seemed to think it important to know the point of impact on the glass, thinking it might be a rock slung by a weedeater.
Again:

I was fit to be tied (should have been gagged) and had to explain that
A. the yard man was here MONDAY, I drove the car TUESDAY and the window wasn't broken then, and
B. (feeling like Killary Klinton) I said "WHAT DOES IT MATTER NOW?"
I think I've mended that fence. I hope.

So today, I got a $422.00 USD hole in my car window filled

(No, my insurance didn't pay because my deductible was more than the cost of the repair)
I gave the SD card from the camera to the cops, maybe they will have some handy dandy software that will read a .media file, but nothing I have will.
I could view the images ON THE APP on my PHONE, but only a few moments at a time, then it would say "that is all for today" yet when I looked at the files listed on the SD card, there were nearly a Terabyte of images from Mar 14,15 and 16.

Now I no longer feel secure in my home, I have lost the friendship of a lady up the street whose husband had died just a month ago, my friendship with the ones who owned this house before me is strained (again) and I am once more alone, and nearly $450 poorer than I was at the beginning of the week.
When will the next wave strike?

Hey Jerry,

You've had a great deal of unfortunate happenings lately.
Didn't you recently have to replace a windshield too a few months back?

One of the many things I admire about you, is your ability to keep pushing forward and doing what needs to be done even when you're having a difficult time and little help from others.

Depression and loneliness are so hard to deal with, and sometimes things can get feeling really bleak, but I want to remind you that people in this world care about you and even though you are alone in person a lot, you're not alone in spirit and sometimes even a text chat on the internet can help get us through those moments.

Stay strong my friend <3

Yes, I DID replace my entire front windscreen (as the Brits call them) I think it was around November, same company did it too.
Seems like this may have been more expensive, I just don't remember. Praps the ins paid for all or part of the other. I just don't remember.
Thanks for the encouragement Jacob.

It didn't make alarm sound at first?

Did what make an alarm? My car has no alarm, unless you try to break open the DOOR when it's locked.
No, there was no alarm
