Ganamos y vamos a cobrar
Sé que los ojos del mundo están puestos en la situación política de Venezuela, entonces deben estar enterados de cómo se consumó lo que todos desde un principio sabíamos ¡SI! ¡Nos robaron las elcciones! El gobierno con premeditación, alevosía y ventaja armó el escenario perfecto para que ellos salieran ganadores.
Pero la verdad es la que todos sabemos, ellos hicieron trampa, jugaron sucio, se apoderaron del Consejo nacional Electoral para que no hubiese ni la más mínima duda que todo sería como lo habían pensado.
Eran órdenes emitidas desde Miraflores y ahí no había nada que hacer.
I know that the eyes of the world are on the political situation in Venezuela, so you must be aware of how what we all knew from the beginning was consummated, YES, the elections were stolen! The government with premeditation, malice aforethought and advantage set up the perfect scenario for them to come out winners.
But the truth is what we all know, they cheated, they played dirty, they took over the National Electoral Council so that there would not be the slightest doubt that everything would be as they had thought it would be.
They were orders issued from Miraflores and there was nothing to be done.
Lo que ellos no sabían es que todo se les iba a voltear, nadie les iba a creer lo que iban a decir y por eso tardaron horas para dar un resultado a medias, porque ni siquiera se tomaron la molestia de inventar el resultado estado por estado como se había hecho en años anteriores.
What they did not know was that everything was going to turn upside down, nobody was going to believe what they were going to say and that is why it took them hours to give a half-assed result, because they did not even take the trouble to invent the result state by state as it had been done in previous years.
Tal vez hasta el último instante ellos conservaban la esperanza de ganar, creían en su gente, esa misma a la que por años han mantenido con una bolsa de comida y un bono mensual. Pero esa misma gente fue la que le dio una cachetada y no lo digo yo, lo dicen las actas que durante las distintas horas de la tarde del día 30 siguen saliendo a la luz, con una votación arrolladora a favor de maría Corina machado y Edmundo González Urrutia.
Maybe until the last moment they still had the hope of winning, they believed in their people, the same people they have supported for years with a bag of food and a monthly bonus. But those same people were the ones who gave them a slap in the face, and I am not saying it, but the minutes that during the different hours of the afternoon of the 30th continue to come to light, with an overwhelming vote in favor of Maria Corina Machado and Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia.
El día de la elección
Mi día comenzó muy bien, todos teníamos mucho ánimo, estábamos orando desde el día anterior, pidiendo y confiando en Dios de que todo iba a salir bien y que la gente iba a tomar conciencia de su voto.
Nos levantamos a las 5 de la mañana y nos fuimos al colegio donde nos tocaba votar. Este lugar era nuevo para nosotros ya que en los días recientes habíamos sido cambiados del centro de votación donde habíamos votado desde que nos mudamos a Guatire hace 20 años y fue gracias a una sobrina que nos dimos cuenta ya que ella se puso a verificar esa información una semana antes de las elecciones.
The day of the election
My day began very well, we were all in high spirits, we had been praying since the day before, praying and trusting in God that everything would go well and that the people would become aware of their vote.
We got up at 5 o'clock in the morning and went to the school where it was our turn to vote. This was a new place for us because in recent days we had been moved from the polling place where we had voted since we moved to Guatire 20 years ago and it was thanks to a niece that we found out because she had verified this information a week before the elections.
Cuando llegamos ya había bastante gente, yo me llevé las arepas y el café que no puede faltar porque nos despierta, nos activa y nos hace compartir con otros. Me encanta ese ambiente electoral, siempre conseguimos personas conversadoras, gente que echa broma, que ríe, que tiene el ánimo por las nubes.
A las 7:30 a.m. estábamos votando, e ese mismo lugar estábamos mi esposo, mi hijo y yo.
When we arrived there were already quite a lot of people, I took the arepas and the coffee that can't be missed because it wakes us up, activates us and makes us share with others.
I love that electoral atmosphere, we always get people who talk, people who joke, who laugh, who are in high spirits.
At 7:30 a.m. we were voting, in the same place were my husband, my son and me.
El proceso de votar fue rápido, primero te pasan hacer una cola dentro de la unidad educativa y te ubican en la mesa que te corresponde votar, luego pasas al aula y te piden la cedula, te verifican y pasas a la máquina de votación que por cierto este año estaban muy distintas a las de años anteriores. Voté, leí la papeleta e introduje dentro de la caja, el último paso es pasar a firmar un listado y te entregan la cedula.
The process of voting was fast, first you have to wait in line inside the educational unit and you are placed at the table where you are supposed to vote, then you go to the classroom and they ask you for your ID card, they verify you and you go to the voting machine, which by the way this year was very different from previous years. I voted, read the ballot and put it in the box, the last step is to sign a list and they give you the card.
Lo único que me molestó fue que al entrar al colegio y hacer la primera fila nos encontramos con una señora (que todo el vecindario sabe que es chavista) pidiendo a las personas el número de cedula. Eso me causo suspicacia, me dio piquilla y por eso comencé a preguntar a los que estaban a mi lado si sabían para qué era eso; la gente por pena o por ignorancia simplemente lo daba pero ¡eso no es así! Yo alerte a los que estaban delante mío y ellos se me adelantaron en la pregunta ¿para que pide el número de cedula? A lo que ella respondió: ¡eso lo manda el CNE para agilizar el proceso de los listados! Todo el mundo se unió en una sola voz: ¬¬_eso es ilegal, usted no tiene por qué hacer eso.
The only thing that bothered me was that upon entering the school and standing in the first line we met a lady (who everyone in the neighborhood knows is a Chavista) asking people for their ID number. That made me suspicious, it gave me an itch and so I started to ask the people next to me if they knew what that was for; people out of pity or ignorance simply gave it but that is not so! I alerted the people in front of me and they went ahead of me and asked, “What are you asking for the ID number for? To which she answered: that's what the CNE sends it to speed up the process of the lists! Everyone united in one voice: ¬¬_that is illegal, you don't have to do that.
La señora se retiró, pero luego nos enteramos que eso mismo le estaba haciendo en muchos lugares de votación. Nunca sabremos la verdad verdadera, pero uno nunca termina de sorprenderse con esta gente del gobierno y su capacidad de hacer trampa o chanchullos como decimos en mi país.
Nos fuimos a casa a descansar un rato pero la verdad es que las redes sociales estaban tan encendidas que era imposible concentrarse. Por eso sentí el deseo intenso de ir a la misa a estar con Dios, sabía que allí era el único sitio donde podría encontrar paz.
The lady withdrew, but later we found out that the same thing was being done in many voting places. We will never know the real truth, but one never ceases to be surprised with these government people and their capacity to cheat or “chanchullos” as we say in my country.
We went home to rest for a while but the truth is that the social networks were so on that it was impossible to concentrate. That's why I felt the intense desire to go to mass to be with God, I knew that there was the only place where I could find peace.
Al llegar me encontré con una iglesia llena de alegría, se notaba la felicidad en el aire, algunos ya habían votado y otros quisieron poner todo primero en manos de Dios para luego ejercer su derecho a sufragar.
Poco a poco fue pasando el día, me fui a casa y cociné una rica arroz con pollo; me encantó ver a mi familia unida alrededor de la mesa y por eso me sentí más agradecida con Dios.
Noticias iban y venían, las redes no paraban de mostrar la verdad, El Señor Edmundo González estaba ganando en cada centro de votación, yo tengo familia en Táchira, Zulia, Caracas, Trujillo, Mérida y todos comentaban lo mismo.
When I arrived I found a church full of joy, you could feel the happiness in the air, some had already voted and others wanted to put everything first in God's hands and then exercise their right to vote.
Little by little the day went by, I went home and cooked a delicious rice with chicken; I loved to see my family united around the table and for that I felt more grateful to God.
News came and went, the networks did not stop showing the truth, Mr. Edmundo Gonzalez was winning in every voting center, I have family in Tachira, Zulia, Caracas, Trujillo, Merida and everyone commented the same.
Al caer la noche comenzó a sentirse en el aire unos movimientos que no le gustaba a nadie. Era la primera vez en la vida electoral de este país que un Rector del CNE no daba la cara; normalmente en horas de las 5:00 o 6:00 dan prórroga para seguir votando o simplemente dan por terminadas las votaciones y ordenan el cierre de las mesas para iniciar el conteo de votos y emitir actas.
Lo bueno de tener líderes como María Corina Machado es que nos guía en cada paso; ya ellos nos habían advertido de que teníamos que estar pendientes para no dejarnos robar los votos. Al cerrar las mesas de votación e iniciar el conteo era donde todos teníamos que estar atentos; en todas las escuelas hubo presencia de electores, mi esposo, mis hijos se fueron a exigir conteo manual pero se hicieron las doce de la noche y aun no salían a dar los resultados.
At nightfall we began to feel some movements in the air that no one liked. It was the first time in the electoral life of this country that a Rector of the CNE did not show his face; normally at 5:00 or 6:00 they give an extension to continue voting or they simply close the polls and order the closing of the tables to start counting the votes and issuing the minutes.
The good thing about having leaders like María Corina Machado is that she guides us every step of the way; they had already warned us that we had to be alert so as not to let the votes be stolen. When the voting tables closed and the counting began, we all had to be attentive; in all the schools there were voters present, my husband, my children went to demand a manual counting but it was twelve o'clock at night and they still did not come out to give the results.
Como es posible que el que se ha catalogado como el mejor sistema electoral del mundo tenga tantas dificultades, en el caso del centro electoral donde me tocó votar eran solo tres mesas electorales, a las seis de la tarde ya no había nadie en la cola, se inició el conteo y no fueron capaces de dar el resultado. A la una de la madrugada permitieron la entrada de dos testigos de cada partido político para contar boleta a boleta. Fue más o menos a esa misma hora que el rector del Consejo nacional Electoral Elvis amoroso se dignó a dar el resultado.
How is it possible that what has been catalogued as the best electoral system in the world has so many difficulties, in the case of the polling place where I had to vote there were only three polling stations, at six o'clock in the afternoon there was no one in line, the counting began and they were not able to give the result. At one o'clock in the morning they allowed the entrance of two witnesses from each political party to count ballot by ballot. Yo había rezado toda la noche, mi hijo Fabián me estaba acompañando en casa, nuestros nervios estaban de punta, sol me abrace a Dios y fue cuando mis oídos escuchaban lo inaudito, la mentira más grande que haya escuchado a humanidad “Maduro había ganado”.
El silencio se hizo presente, no había nada que decir, aunque hubiese querido hablar en ese momento no había palabra que pudiera hacerme sentir cómoda.
De inmediato me fui a la cama con el rostro de mi hijo Fabián grabado en mi mente, era solo en ellos que podía pensar y nadie más.
No lloré, no quise ni tan siquiera hablar con Dios porque desde un principio dije que no quería que saliera de mi boca alguna palabra que lo pudiera ofender. Casi enseguida llegaron mi esposo y mi hijo y se acostaron sin emitir ni una sola palabra.
I had prayed all night, my son Fabian was accompanying me at home, our nerves were on edge, I embraced God and that was when my ears heard the unheard, the biggest lie I have ever heard to humanity “Maduro had won”.
Silence was present, there was nothing to say, even if I had wanted to speak at that moment there was no word that could make me feel comfortable.
I immediately went to bed with my son Fabian's face engraved in my mind, it was only them I could think about and no one else.
I did not cry, I did not even want to talk to God because from the beginning I said that I did not want any word to come out of my mouth that could offend Him. Almost immediately my husband and son arrived and went to bed without uttering a single word.
Indignación es la palabra que mejor puede describir lo que todos los venezolanos que sentía los que votamos por Edmundo y María Corina Machado.
El silencio atormentaba, queríamos que amaneciera para escuchar a nuestros líderes, queríamos escuchar los pasos a seguir y con ello mantener la fe más viva.
Ese lunes desde muy temprano los líderes políticos, el pueblo, Estados Unidos, Brasil, panamá, desconocían los resultados con toda seguridad y el pueblo salió a la calle a protestar; hubo represión de parte de los cuerpos de seguridad del estado y por ende hubo muertos.
Indignation is the word that can best describe what all Venezuelans who voted for Edmundo and Maria Corina Machado felt.
The silence was tormenting, we wanted the sun to rise to listen to our leaders, we wanted to hear the steps to follow and thus keep our faith more alive.
That Monday, from very early in the morning, the political leaders, the people, the United States, Brazil, Panama, were certain that the results were not known and the people took to the streets to protest; there was repression on the part of the state security forces and as a result there were deaths.
Me causo mucha tristeza saber del primo de una amiga muy cercana quien recibió un impacto de bala y llego muerto al hospital en San Cristóbal estado Táchira. La gente está “ARRECHA” esa es la palabra más fuerte que les puedo decir por acá, la gente no les cree nada y serán los mismos ciudadanos que hace unos años lloró la muerte de Chávez los que saquen ahora al señor Nicolás Maduro.
La verdad es el camino a la paz.
El día martes 30 de Julio nos levantamos bien temprano en casa desayunamos y nos encomendamos a Dios para salir a la calle al encuentro con el presidente electo Edmundo González y la líder política María Corina machado. El punto de encuentro lo dijo ella en la rueda de prensa donde hablo al pueblo y mostro las pruebas fehacientes con las que vamos a defender estas elecciones.
Ayer se sentía la buena energía en el ambiente, teníamos la fe más viva que nunca ¡sí! Sentíamos rabia, pero ese sentimiento era nuestro combustible.
I was very saddened to hear about the cousin of a very close friend of mine who was shot and arrived dead at the hospital in San Cristobal, Tachira State. People are “ARRECHA” that is the strongest word I can say around here, people do not believe them at all and it will be the same citizens that a few years ago mourned the death of Chavez that will now remove Mr. Nicolas Maduro.
The truth is the road to peace.
On Tuesday, July 30, we got up early at home, had breakfast and entrusted ourselves to God to go out to the streets to meet with the elected President Edmundo Gonzalez and the political leader Maria Corina Machado. The meeting point was stated by her in the press conference where she spoke to the people and showed them the irrefutable evidence with which we are going to defend these elections.
Yesterday we felt the good energy in the atmosphere, we had the faith more alive than ever, yes! We felt anger, but that feeling was our fuel.
Llegamos a la concentración muy cerca del parque del este, mi esposo había dejado resguardado el carro muy lejos en casa de una prima para evitar cualquier daño.
Ahí había un rio de gente, era increíble estar allí rodeada de gente que sentía lo mismo que pensaba lo mismo y ese pensamiento no era otro que “Libertad”.
We arrived at the rally very close to the east park, my husband had left the car very far away at a cousin's house to avoid any damage.
There was a river of people there, it was incredible to be there surrounded by people who felt the same thing and thought the same thing and that thought was none other than “Freedom”.
#“LIBERTAD” Esa es la consigna.
A la una y media se fueron acercándose nuestros líderes MCM y Edmundo montados en un camión, los gente se emocionó, cantó consignas, entregó las actas que tenían en sus manos y el mensaje de MCM fue claro y preciso: “Ganamos las elecciones y vamos a cobrar” para luego celebrar.
Edmundo envió un mensaje a Nicolás Maduro ¿Por qué no han mostrado los resultados en el CNE? Si necesitan las actas ¡Aquí las tienes! Mostrando al pueblo que allí se encontraba.
“FREEDOM” That is the slogan.
At half past one our leaders MCM and Edmundo were approaching mounted on a truck, the people got excited, chanted slogans, handed over the minutes they had in their hands and MCM's message was clear and precise: “We won the elections and we are going to collect” and then celebrate.
Edmundo sent a message to Nicolás Maduro: “Why haven't they shown the results at the CNE? If you need the minutes, here they are! Showing the people who were there.
Eso me dio risa, en verdad que Edmundo es un ser de luz, un señor sencillo, humilde, que se robó el corazón de los venezolanos.
Que más les puedo expresar en este momento, al final del día solo sentía tranquilidad. Agradecida con Dios y con mi familia por haberme acompañado.
Si me preguntan si siento miedo les diría ¡Para nada! no hay miedo alguno.
Ahora lo que tenemos es valor para seguir adelante y aguantar, no nos vamos a dejar robar nuestras elecciones, nuestro triunfo y el futuro de nuestros hijos.
That made me laugh, in truth Edmundo is a being of light, a simple, humble gentleman, who stole the hearts of Venezuelans.
What else can I say at this moment, at the end of the day I only felt calm. I am grateful to God and to my family for having accompanied me.
If you ask me if I am afraid, I would say, “Not at all! there is no fear at all.
Now what we have is courage to go ahead and endure, we will not let them steal our elections, our triumph and the future of our children.

Mejor dicho imposible porque los que aqui estamos en Venezuela los de la verdad sabemos como es todo, pero no hay que bajar la guardia, aun hay un halo de esperanza sigamos orando por los que estamos y por los que queremos que regresen
ellos perdieron muchos votos de los mismos que se dicen chavistas. yo tengo familiares que antes eran y ahora lo odian.
En la mesa electoral donde me tocó votar el miembro de mesa o testigo al lado del operador de la máquina (Oci) le dictaba el número de cédula este lo introducía en la máquina y salió mis datos personales, luego otro miembro ubicado más atrás con un celular en la mano, son conocernos pronunció mi nombre y volteé para ver porque me mencionaba y me di cuenta que debe ser testigo chavista, para demostrar que están monitoreando a uno al introducir en el celular el número de cédula que oyen, la página web del CNE, arroja los datos de uno. Yo voté con toda paciencia por EDMUNDO GONZALEZ, y se que ganó en la mesa, en las otras mesas de ese centro electoral y también ganó en los otros centros electorales cercanos en mi ciudad.
yo me puse a discutir con esa señora que anotaba los numeros de telefono, y desde la calle le volvi a gritar cuando la vi en lo mismo anotando pidiendole el numero de cedula a mi hijo. ahora solo nos resta esperar que MCM haga lo que tenga que hacer, hasta el final.
