Es increíble ver que llevaba un mes sin publicar nada hiveblog y es que realmente el estrés de la universidad no me ha dejado pensar en nada más que en maquetas, dibujos y diseños. Pero hoy quiero contarle del gran día que tuve el viernes pasado, que sinceramente buen día para distraerme de todo, aunque al principio creí que solo sería otro día de rutina.
It's amazing to see that I had a month without posting anything hiveblog and is that really the stress of college has not let me think of anything but mockups, drawings and designs. But today I want to tell you about the great day I had last Friday, which honestly was a good day to distract me from everything, although at first I thought it would just be another day of routine.
Como todos los viernes fui a la clase de diseño, entregue unos cuanto bocetos y recibí mis correcciones y seguí con mi vida. Realmente quería llegar temprano ese viernes a mi casa sí que pensaba irme en lo que terminara la clase, pero me quede charlando con unos panas por un par de hora, hasta que se nos ocurrió la gran idea de pasear por el Bulevar de Sabana Grande un rato conocer un poco más Caracas.
Like every Friday I went to design class, handed in a few sketches and received my corrections and went on with my life. I really wanted to get home early, I was planning to leave as soon as the class was over, but I stayed there chatting with some friends for a couple of hours, until we came up with the great idea of walking along the Boulevard of Sabana Grande for a while to get to know Caracas a little better.
Después de caminar un rato terminamos almorzando una buena pizza hawaiana en la Pastelería Carmen Deli realmente nunca le había prestado mucha atención a ese local, pero esa pizza estaba buenísima o quizás solo era mi hambre... no lo se jajaja, pero definitivamente lo agregue a mi lista.
Luego de charlar un rato más en la Pastelería, seguimos caminando y un pana nos habló sobre un nuevo The Junko Paintball en el centro comercial Chacaito y que quería ir a preguntar cuanto costaría jugar un par jugar un par de partidas así que aprovechamos y seguimos caminando por todo el bulevar mientras seguíamos viendo algunos locales hasta llegar al Centro comercial.
La idea era simplemente preguntar, pero... con la emoción del momento terminamos jugando un rato. Al principio solamente íbamos hacer 2 equipos entre nuestro grupo, 3 contra 2, pero como éramos muy pocos asi que nos unieron con un grupo que llego justo después de nosotros, así que termino siendo una partida de 5 contra 6 ellos llevaron a un niño pequeño, así que nos dio igual y entramos todos.
After walking for a while we ended up having a nice Hawaiian pizza for lunch at Pastelería Carmen Deli I had never really paid much attention to that place, but that pizza was really good or maybe it was just my hunger... I don't know hahaha, but I definitely added it to my list.
After chatting a bit more at the Pastelería, we kept walking and a guy told us about a new The Junko Paintball in the Chacaito mall and that she wanted to go and ask how much it would cost to play a couple of games so we took advantage and kept walking all along the boulevard while we kept seeing some shops until we got to the mall.
The idea was just to ask, but... with the excitement of the moment we ended up playing for a while. At the beginning we were only going to make 2 teams between our group, 3 against 2, but as we were very few so they joined us with a group that arrived right after us, so it ended up being a game of 5 against 6, they took a little boy, so we didn't care and we all went in.
Junto antes de comenzar aprovechamos y sacamos unas cuantas fotos, a uno de mis panas se le fue un dispara probando la el seguro de la pistola y justo paso entre todos nosotros jajaja me pego el susto del año. ¡Cuando oficialmente comenzó la partida me empece llenar de una mezcla loca entre adrenalina y nervios, nunca voy a olvidar la sensación de entrar completamente en juego, la primera vez que jale el gatillo, la primera vez que dieron en la pierna, cuando casi me dan en toda la careta, pero pego en mi pistola, las veces que me encuentre el enemigo de frente ufff!!! Dios!!, Sinceramente fue un gran descargue de adrenalina total, el mejor antiestrés que conocido en mi vida.
También me encanto como fluyo todo con mis panas haciendo equipo sin tener una estrategia previa, pero igual nos cubrimos bien, sobre todo con mi compañera que pensamos quera la que se iba a quedar a tras y realmente casi que cada vez que volteaba buscarla estaba a mi lado o al frente entrompando sin miedo jajajajajaja. Lo único que no me justo es que justo cunado iba a cruzar a campo enemigo, se me trabo la pistola y se me descargo sola, por lo que me tuve que retirar del juego unos minutos después.
Sinceramente, fue un día grandioso, realmente esa partida de Paintball fue lo mejor del día, espero poder repetir esa experiencia una y mil veces más!!, se la recomiendo a todo el mundo jajajaja.
Before the game started we took a few pictures, one of my friends took a shot when he was testing the safety of the gun and it just happened between all of us hahaha I got the scare of the year. When the game officially started I began to fill with a crazy mix of adrenaline and nerves, I will never forget the feeling of entering the game completely, the first time I pulled the trigger, the first time I was hit in the leg, when I almost got hit in my mask, but I hit my gun, the times I found the enemy in front of me ufff! God, it was honestly a total adrenaline rush, the best anti-stress I have ever known in my life.
I also loved how everything flowed with my friends making a team without having a previous strategy, but we still covered ourselves well, especially with my partner who we thought would be the one who was going to stay behind and really almost every time I turned to look for her she was next to me or in front of me, fearless jajajajajajajajajaja. The only thing I didn't like was that just when I was about to cross into enemy territory, my gun jammed and unloaded by itself, so I had to leave the game a few minutes later.
Sincerely, it was a great day, really that Paintball game was the best of the day, I hope to repeat that experience a thousand times more!!!, I recommend it to everyone hahahaha.
