Arte y vida

Mi nombre es Osmel Fernández Estévez y soy artista de la plástica. Nací en Ciudad de la Habana en el 92 y soy graduado de la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes San Alejandro (curso 2008-2012). Es para mí un placer ante todo el poder contar con ustedes y mostrarles mi arte en este bello espacio.
Dentro de las artes plásticas trabajo varias manifestaciones como la pintura y el grabado, pero el lenguaje que más uso para expresar mis ideas es el dibujo.

He optado por crear un mundo en mi obra con mucho énfasis en el movimiento surrealista, aunque también trabajo el realismo. Dentro del dibujo me atrae mucho la temática del retrato, la anatomía, el diseño de personajes y la ilustración.

Soy cristiano evangélico pentecostal y trato de llevar una forma de vida sana acompañado siempre de una sonrisa sincera.
Por otra parte disfruto del cine, sobretodo los géneros de acción, aventura, comedia y también las series. Mi actor favorito es Johnny Deep ya que a mi humilde opinión posee un gran rango interpretativo. También sigo la actuación de la israelita Gal Gadot, Mark Wahlberg, Scott Adkins, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart y Keanu Reeves entre otros. Los directores que más me cautivan son Christopher Nolan y Steven Spielberg.
Mi serie favorita es Chicago fire.
Me gusta gozar de la compañía de las mascotas afectivas (principalmente de los perros)...soy de los que opina que todo ser viviente merece respeto y por ende estoy en contra del maltrato animal.

Amo estar en un ambiente alejado de personas tóxicas, pienso que un ambiente saludable propicia buenos resultados en todos los sentidos. Opto siempre por la empatía y el respeto hacia los demás, ya que esto es parte indispensable
para poder sostener una buena y sana comunicación.
En cuanto a los deportes desde pequeño jugaba baseball de manera no oficial pero sigo siendo amante de ese deporte; soy fan de la Liga Mayor de Beisbol (MLB) siendo los Gigantes de San Francisco mi equipo predilecto.
Me gusta impartir clases de dibujo artístico a adolescentes y jóvenes; siento que cada vez que enseño sobre la materia también me retroalimento. Me gusta escuchar a mis alumnos y eso también forma parte de mi aprendizaje.
Amo los días nublados ya que son los que me inspiran y con los que más cómodo me siento. Me deleito cuando llueve, cuando siento el viento, cuando oigo las olas del mar, cuando estoy en contacto con la naturaleza, cuando bebo una buena taza de café, cuando como pizza, etc. Mi comida favorita es el arroz amarillo con cerdo.
A veces me gusta escribir poesías y crear frases. Mis escritores favoritos son Julio Verne, Mark Twain, Emilio Salgari y mi libro favorito es El Principito.
Gracias a un amigo @pumarte pude conocer de este ecosistema de Hive y espero poder crear y aprender dentro de esta plataforma novedosa para mí.

My name is Osmel Fernández Estévez and I am a fine artist. I was born in Havana City in 1992 and I am a graduate of the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts (2008-2012). It is a pleasure for me to be able to socialize with you and show you my art in this beautiful space.
Within the plastic arts I work several manifestations such as painting and engraving, but the language I use the most to express my ideas is drawing.
"Drawing is the face of what I think".
I have chosen to create a world in my work with much emphasis on the surrealist movement, although I also work realism. Within drawing I am very attracted to portraiture, anatomy, character design and illustration.
I am a Pentecostal Evangelical Christian and I try to lead a healthy lifestyle always accompanied by a sincere smile.
On the other hand I enjoy movies, especially the genres of action, adventure, comedy and also series. My favorite actor is Johnny Deep because in my humble opinion he has a great acting range. I also follow the acting of the Israeli Gal Gadot, Mark Wahlberg, Scott Adkins, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Keanu Reeves among others. The directors that captivate me the most are Christopher Nolan and Steven Spielberg.
My favorite series is Chicago fire.
I like to enjoy the company of affectionate pets (mainly dogs)...I am of the opinion that every living being deserves respect and therefore I am against animal abuse.
I love to be in an environment away from toxic people, I think that a healthy environment is conducive to good results in every way. I always opt for empathy and respect towards others, as this is an indispensable part of a good and healthy communication.

As for sports since I was a child I played baseball unofficially but I am still a lover of that sport; I am a fan of Major League Baseball (MLB) being the San Francisco Giants my favorite team.
I enjoy teaching art drawing classes to teenagers and young adults; I feel that every time I teach about the subject I also get feedback. I like to listen to my students and that is also part of my learning.
I love cloudy days as they are the ones that inspire me and with which I feel most comfortable. I delight when it rains, when I feel the wind, when I hear the waves of the sea, when I am in contact with nature, when I drink a good cup of coffee, when I eat pizza, etc. My favorite food is yellow rice with pork.
Sometimes I like to write poetry and create sentences. My favorite writers are Jules Verne, Mark Twain, Emilio Salgari and my favorite book is The Little Prince.
Thanks to a friend @pumarte I was able to learn about this Hive ecosystem and I hope to be able to create and learn within this new platform for me.
