Les quiero contar como pasé mi año nuevo ya que ustedes forman parte de mi vida así que tienen que saber todo lo que acontece en ella, ese día me puse hacer unas hallacas desde bien temprano, ya el día anterior había comprado todo lo necesario.

I want to tell you how I spent my new year since you are part of my life so you have to know everything that happens in it, that day I started making hallacas very early, the day before I had already bought everything I needed.

Así me la pasé todo el día en labores para la cena de fin de año, limpiando la casa, preparando las hallacas y una rica torta que preparé para compartir en familia.

I spent the whole day working for the New Year's Eve dinner, cleaning the house, preparing the hallacas and a delicious cake that I prepared to share with the family.

Resulta que días anteriores había participado en la radio e iban a realizar el concurso el último día del año, así que yo estaba muy pendiente y coloqué la emisora, pero en un descuido que me voy a secar el cabello porque se había ido la señal de la antena dicen el ganador, en ese momento tenía mi celular apagado cargando, mi hermana y mi sobrina estaban como locas llamando y casi pierdo el premio.

It turns out that days before I had participated in the radio and they were going to make the contest the last day of the year, so I was very attentive and I put the station, but in an oversight that I'm going to dry my hair because the antenna signal was gone they say the winner, at that time I had my cell phone off charging, my sister and my niece were like crazy calling and I almost lost the prize.

Pero en cuanto volvió la señal escucho mi nombre y salté de la emoción, lo que estaba viendo quien me llevaba porque no cuento con carro propio y ya era tarde, así que una vecina se ofreció amablemente a trasladarme a la emisora de radio.

But as soon as the signal came back I heard my name and I jumped with excitement, I was looking for a ride because I don't have my own car and it was already late, so a neighbor kindly offered to take me to the radio station.

En cuanto llegue me felicitaron y me mandaron a dar un mensaje de año nuevo, yo estaba muy nerviosa y emocionada, agradecí y luego me fui a casa.

As soon as I arrived they congratulated me and sent me a New Year's message, I was very nervous and excited, I thanked them and then I went home.

Estaba feliz ya que tenía muchísimo tiempo sin ganarme un premio, así que culminé mi 2021 de manera positiva.

I was happy because I hadn't won an award for a long time, so I ended my 2021 in a positive way.

Al llegar a casa me puse hacer una rica ensalada de gallina que no puede faltar en mi mesa cada diciembre.

When I got home I started to make a delicious chicken salad that is a must on my table every December.

Finalmente en la noche cene en compañía de mi hija, mi esposo y mi mamá, brindamos por el nuevo año, esperando que estemos con plena salud para lograr nuestros objetivos.

Finally in the evening I had dinner with my daughter, my husband and my mom, we toasted to the new year, hoping that we are in full health to achieve our goals.
