Martes de Agradecimiento 🙌🏻💜 | Thanksgiving Tuesday

Hola, Queridos Hivers! Si hubo alguien que me ha tomado la mano en todo este proceso de sanación sin soltarla, ha sido Dios, y había llegado el momento de agradecerle en una de sus casas de oración.

Hello, Dear Hivers! If there has been someone who has held my hand throughout this healing process without letting go, it has been God, and the time had come to thank Him in one of His houses of prayer.

Las amigas de mi mamá organizaron una misa en acción de gracias en la iglesia catedral de Cumaná para el día martes 29-09. Pude descansar el fin de semana y preparar algo especial para la misa.

Se me ocurrió cantar el Agnus dei de la Misa de Coronación de Mozart, así que le pedí a mi amiga María Rosa que me acompañara en el piano, a lo que ella accedió felizmente!! Así que ensayamos el mismo martes en la mañana en el apartamento de mi tía.

My mom's friends organized a thanksgiving mass in the cathedral church of Cumaná for Tuesday 29-09. I was able to rest the weekend and prepare something special for the mass.

I chose to sing the Agnus dei from Mozart's Coronation Mass, so I asked my friend María Rosa to accompany me on the piano, to which she happily agreed!!! So we rehearsed the same Tuesday morning at my aunt's apartment.

Estaba muy nerviosa por el tiempo que tenía sin cantar, y cantar lírico requiere una potencia de voz y un apoyo increíble, y temía no lograrlo ...

Tomé una pequeña siesta para relajarme, y al despertarme almorcé, y me empecé a arreglar para la misa.

I was very nervous because of the time I had not sung, and singing lyric requires incredible voice power and support, and I was afraid I would not make it...

I took a little nap to relax, and when I woke up I had lunch, and I started to get ready for the mass.

Me puse un vestido blanco y un chal verde con morado. Me gustó mucho el resultado!
También me maquillé un poco e improvisé un peinado. Aún estoy aprendiendo a estilizar el cabello corto, pero es muy divertido jeje. Ya poco a poco está se volviendo más fuerte y suave.

I wore a white dress and a green and purple shawl. I really liked the result!

I also did some makeup and improvised a hairstyle. I'm still learning how to style short hair, but it's a lot of fun hehe. It's slowly getting stronger and softer.

Al estar lista, nos fuimos en el auto de mi abuelito a la iglesia, y allí encontramos al coro y ya a algunos conocidos que llegaron temprano. Poco a poco fueron llegando más, y todos me querían abrazar, pero lamentablemente no estoy en condiciones de abrazar a muchas personas porque aún me tengo que cuidar excesivamente! Muchos me llevaron ragalitos hermosos, y me llenaron de bendiciones y palabras de aliento. Estoy muy agradecida con todos los que fueron.

When I was ready, we went in my grandfather's car to the church, and there we met the choir and some acquaintances who had arrived early. Little by little more arrived, and everyone wanted to hug me, but unfortunately I am not able to hug many people because I still have to take care of myself too much! Many brought me beautiful gifts, and showered me with blessings and words of encouragement. I am very grateful to everyone who came.

La misa estuvo muy emotiva, me agradaron las palabras del sacerdote. La pasé escuchándolo y mirando la estatua de Dios.
AH! Y también nos encontramos con una estatua nueva del Dr. José Gregorio Hernández.

The mass was very moving, I liked the words of the priest. I enjoyed listening to him and looking at the statue of God.

Llegó el momento de cantar el Agnus dei, y aunque los nervios seguían ahí, solo sentía las ganas de agradecer (aunque la pieza no trata de eso).

Me sentí muy agradecida y muy sentimental estando allí, cantándole a Dios, a la virgencita, a mi doctorcito y a todos los que me apoyaron.

Estoy viva, y tengo una nueva oportunidad para vivir mejor! Y al darme cuenta de eso, no pude evitar llorar. Estoy muy agradecida!!

It was time to sing the Agnus dei, and although the nerves were still there, I only felt the desire to give thanks (although the piece is not about that).

I felt very grateful and very sentimental being there, singing to God, to the little virgin, to my doctor and to all those who supported me.

I am alive, and I have a new opportunity to live better! And realizing that, I couldn't help but cry. I am so grateful!

Todos fueron a demostrarme su cariño, a tomarse fotos conmigo, a entregarme más regalos, bendiciones, amor!!!
A pesar de que mi mamá y sus amigas estaban muy preocupadas y pendientes de que nadie me tocara, para mi fue muy gracioso y disfrutable verlos a todos ahí.

They all came to show me their love, to take pictures with me, to give me more gifts, blessings, love!
Even though my mom and her friends were very worried and worried that no one touched me, for me it was very funny and enjoyable to see them all there.
