¿Cómo resumirías tu vida? La verdad esta pregunta es sumamente difícil, pero vamos a intentarlo.

¡Hola! Soy Mafer, con erre al final. Tengo 23 años y cumplo el 26 de diciembre, sí, comparto festividades con el Niño Jesús y no recibo doble regalo. (Sí, es triste, pero tengo la fortuna de celebrar mientras como pan de jamón, así que tan triste no es)

Soy Venezolana, residenciada en Anzoátegui, aunque nací en Caracas, me mudé con mi mamá y mi hermana a muy temprana edad a este hermoso lado oriental del país. La familia con la que cuento son ellas 2, aunque desde la universidad la vida me dio una tercera hermana que es mi mejor amiga, @rousess que, de hecho, fue quien me dijo que participara en esta hermosa plataforma y comunidad, pero no nos adelantemos.

A pesar de que no tuve una infancia entre comillas ‘’normal’’ porque me la pasaba enferma y por consiguiente de clínica en clínica, solo jugaba con mis Polly Pocket’s y veía a mi tío jugar en el PlayStation 1 juegos como Silent Hill, Resident Evil o Soul Reaver y evidentemente me nació una llama por querer jugar, pero como estaba pequeña y no me iban a poner a jugar juegos de terror o tan profundos, me dejaban jugar Spyro, y qué decirles, fue mi infancia, junto con Bugs Bunny y Taz: la espiral del tiempo. (Aunque ese nunca lo pude terminar porque se quedaba pegado en una parte y había que reiniciar el juego)

Por supuesto, esto me llevó a querer jugar y explorar más mundos en los videojuegos, me compraron un DS, pero fue la única consola que tuve hasta que me dijeron a los 11 años que podía jugar en PC y eso formó parte de quién soy ahora y en todo ese recorrido no solo me hice relativamente en los videojuegos sino también manejando tecnología y a través de ello, desarrollé un gusto en escribir, escribía poesía y hacia catarsis en mi blog de Tumblr. Pero principalmente jugaba League of Legends, Hearthstone y algunos juegos Indie como Ib, Undertale o Mogeko Castle. Hoy en día me encantan los videojuegos y ahora que tengo un buen equipo puedo probar juegos que siempre quise jugar como Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age y otros que van saliendo actualmente. (Cuando quieran hablamos en otros post sobre estos GOTY)

En cuanto a mi educación, estudié Turismo; sin embargo, no lo ejerzo actualmente, ya que, fue en la universidad que caí en cuenta lo mucho que me gusta crear contenido, diseñar y actualmente editar videos. Para trabajar en todo estos ámbitos, empecé a capacitarme para trabajar en agencias de marketing y a pesar de que no es una experiencia que recomiendo, sí me enseñó muchísimo cada empresa y marca con la que trabajé. Empecé como Community Manager, sin embargo, ante cualquier proyecto siempre busco dar y hacer lo mejor de mí, por eso, me volví buena diseñando y editando videos, me hace sentir que soy una creativa completa y capacitada para cualquier propuesta. Actualmente, me gustaría llegar a ser Directora Creativa, sin embargo, estoy contenta y en paz en los puestos que ejerzo actualmente (un poco de todo gente, acá seguimos siendo explotados laboralmente) Y mientras esa meta se cumple, me propuse a crear contenido para mí misma, es decir, tengo buenas ideas, me encanta el shitposting y el chisme. ¿Qué mejor combinación que esa? Al menos eso pensé, además, en la universidad donde fue que conocí a mi mejor amiga, (que les mencioné arriba y desde entonces hemos sido inseparables y cada meta que cumple ella es como si yo misma la hubiese cumplido) ella hacía vlogs para YouTube y era muy organizada, eso me motivaba muchísimo tanto para las clases como para mis proyectos personales así que le pedí consejos y fue una gran influencia (y sigue siéndolo) para mis proyectos actuales.

Actualmente, trabajo en dos agencias de marketing y tengo algunos clientes como freelance, tengo 2 maravillosas gatas y entendí que soy YouTuber de corazón y Streamer en ocasión (¡En Twitch!)

How would you summarize your life? Actually, this question is extremely difficult, but let's give it a try.

Hi! I'm Mafer, with a “R” at the end. I'm 23 years old and my birthday is December 26th, yes, I share holidays with Baby Jesus and I don't get double gifts (yes, it's sad, but I have the fortune of celebrating while eating ham bread, so it's not so sad).

I am Venezuelan, residing in Anzoátegui, although I was born in Caracas, I moved with my mom and my sister at a very young age to this beautiful eastern side of the country. The family I count on are the 2 of them, although since college life gave me a third sister who is my best friend, @Rousess who, in fact, was the one who told me to participate in this beautiful platform and community, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Although I didn't have a ''normal'' childhood because I spent my time sick and therefore from clinic to clinic, I only played with my Polly Pocket's and watched my uncle playing on the PlayStation 1 games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil or Soul Reaver and obviously I was born a flame for wanting to play, but as I was little and they were not going to put me to play horror games or so deep, they let me play Spyro, and what to tell you, it was my childhood, along with Bugs Bunny and Taz: the spiral of time. (Although I could never finish that one because it got stuck in one part and you had to restart the game).

Of course, this led me to want to play and explore more worlds in video games, I was bought a DS, but it was the only console I had until I was told at age 11 that I could play on PC and that was part of who I am now and throughout that journey I not only became relatively into video games but also handling technology and through that, I developed a taste in writing, I wrote poetry and did catharsis on my Tumblr blog. But mostly I played League of Legends, Hearthstone and some Indie games like Ib, Undertale or Mogeko Castle. Nowadays I love videogames and now that I have a good computer I can try games I always wanted to play like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age and others that are coming out nowadays (When you want we talk in other posts about these GOTY).

As for my education, I studied Tourism; however, I don't currently practice it, since, it was in college that I realized how much I like to create content, design and actually edit videos. To work in all these areas, I began to train to work in marketing agencies and although it is not an experience that I recommend, it taught me a lot every company and brand I worked with. I started as a Community Manager, however, before any project I always try to give and do my best, that's why I became good at designing and editing videos, it makes me feel that I am a complete creative and qualified for any proposal. Currently, I would like to become Creative Director, however, I am happy and at peace in the positions I currently hold (a little bit of everything people, here we are still being exploited at work) And while that goal is met, I set out to create content for myself, that is, I have good ideas, I love shitposting and gossip. What better combination than that? At least that's what I thought, besides, in college where I met my best friend, (who I mentioned above and since then we have been inseparable and every goal she accomplishes is as if I had accomplished it myself) she made vlogs for YouTube and was very organized, that motivated me a lot both for classes and for my personal projects so I asked her for advice and she was a great influence (and still is) for my current projects.

Currently, I work in two marketing agencies and have a few freelance clients, I have 2 wonderful cats and a wonderful family. I understood that I am a YouTuber at heart and a Streamer on occasion (on Twitch!).

I want to share with you my life, my recommendations of movies, series, video games, landscapes or history of my beautiful country and among many more things, that's why I'm watching the Hive class from Zero with @soylaloreto to bring you a well structured content and to your liking.
