Mi nombre es ANDRÉS MIGUEL RODRÍGUEZ FIGUEROA. Nací el 5 de agosto de 1982 en la ciudad de Cumaná, estado Sucre - Venezuela, mis padres son Glendys Figueroa y Julio Rodríguez, soy el menor de los 3 hermano, estoy casado con Andrea Mago y tengo dos hijos, Miguel de 13 años y Andrés de 6 años.

Me gradué como Licenciado en Administración de Empresas en el año 2011 en la Universidad Nacional Experimental Simón Rodríguez (UNESR) y me desempeño actualmente como analista de Organización en la Universidad de Oriente desde el 2006.

Desde niño me gusto la carpinteria e hice muchos trabajos con maderas y desde hace varios años incursione en el arte de la lutheria y descubri mi verdadera pasión que mis antepasados se dedicaron desde el año 1905 y ahora pertenezco a la 4ta generación de luthieres de la Dinastía Figueroa.

Aprendi este nuevo oficio en el año 2014 gracias a mi tio Asdrúbal Figueroa que dedicó toda su vida a fabricar Cuatros y otros instrumentos pero lamentablemente falleció en el 2017 a los 63 años de edad. También a los reconocidos luthieres cumaneses Rafael Arcia y Crispín Becerra, que en cada momento me asesoraban y compartian sus conocimientos y experiencias como fabricantes de Cuatro Venezolano.
