Saludos y bendiciones, mi nombre es Héctor Ruiz, me considero honesto, transparente y asertivo en mi trato con los demás y con el medio ambiente. También, creo ser creativo y curioso, lo que me lleva a buscar incesantemente nuevas formas de expresión. Para mi tiene un gran valor la responsabilidad, por eso siempre me apasiono con las cosas que estimo importantes y me esfuerzo por lograr mis objetivos de forma eficaz.
Soy casado (1982), Mi esposa Milagros y mis hijos Yendi y Yalton viven en Argentina desde al año 2017, debido a la situación económica y política por la que, actualmente, está atravesando mi país.
En 2022, me mudé a Argentina por la misma razón que mi familia y porque considero que el hogar es el lugar, por el cual, siento más amor, sin importar dónde me encuentre. Desafortunadamente, por motivos de salud, me vi obligado a regresar a Venezuela, aunque tengo que volver con mi familia en cualquier momento.
Soy profesor de inglés, jubilado del Ministerio de Educación Básica y del Ministerio de Educación Superior. Alternativamente, he enseñado inglés, como segundo idioma en diferentes institutos y academias durante muchos años. Ser docente de inglés es una actividad que he desarrollado por más de 40 años, ¡Me gusta mucho! ¡Es parte de mis genes!
Mi formación profesional comienza a mi salida del liceo, cuando apliqué para obtener una beca de estudio en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica, ¡lo logre!, aunque no pude estudiar lo que me gustaba (arte), debido a que el programa de becas solo apoyaba carreras técnicas y científicas.
Llegado a U.S.A, comencé como alumno en “proceso de aprobación” en la Facultad de Veterinaria, carrera por la cual no sentía ninguna vocación. Después de tomar el TOEFL, ingresé como alumno regular a la facultad de Economía. En 1979, recibí mi diploma en “Agriculture and Resources Economics”, carrera que nunca ejercí.
Por cinco años viví en el estado de Maine (U.S.A), y por un año en el estado de Colorado (U.S.A), donde perfeccioné mis conocimientos de inglés para así poder tomar el TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), lo que me dió el acceso a la universidad como alumno regular.
Vivir en América del Norte fue una experiencia muy hermosa, nunca podré olvidarla. Allí conocí a los mejores amigos de mi vida: my brother Tim Theft and my sister Mary Sprague. Todavía mantenemos una estrecha relación gracias al internet.
Después de mi regreso a Venezuela, trabajé por 12 años en V.I.A.S.A (Venezuelan International Airlines S.A), donde ocupé cinco cargos diferentes hasta llegar a ser “Despachador de Vuelos”, el cargo máximo dentro de la línea. Trabajar en esta aerolínea me dió la oportunidad de viajar y conocer varios países.
En 1994, ingresé a la Universidad Pedagógico Experimental Libertador, (UPEL-Venezuela), donde después de cinco años, obtuve mi grado como profesor de inglés. Lograda esta carrera, pude ingresar como docente titular a los ministerios de Educación Media (MPPE) y Educación Universitaria (MPPEU).En 2009, finalicé mi maestría en “Desarrollo Comunitario” en la universidad “Rómulo Gallegos”, (UNERG- Venezuela).
Desde el año 2018 he trabajado en liceos privados, clases de inglés online, call centers, etc., pero no han sido muy rentables económicamente. En mi búsqueda constante de ocupación, llegué a una aplicación llamada (Taringa), la cual me dió la oportunidad de desarrollar una de mis pasiones, además de la enseñanza del inglés y de la pintura artística: “Escribir Cuentos de Terror”.
En Taringa, tuve la oportunidad de crear historias cortas de género macabro y publicarlas, con lo que me sentí muy a gusto ya que le pude dar rienda suelta a mi creatividad.
Lamentablemente, Taringa fue cerrada, pero afortunadamente, un amigo ex – taringuero @jonathanr, me aconsejó buscar información sobre un sitio web conocido como “HIVE”, donde si lograba ingresar, podría publicar mis creaciones literarias.
Hive, es un ecosistema donde se promociona principalmente “la blockchain”(Google)[https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hive_(criptomoneda)], para que gente común, sin ningún tipo de conocimientos sobre criptomonedas e informática, como yo, puedan incorporarse a este ecosistema de la forma más fácil.
Hive me pareció una plataforma seria, con relevancia, donde se podrían publicar creaciones literarias serias y donde los publicadores de contenidos tendrían la posibilidad de desarrollar su creatividad, e ir más allá de un meme o una fotografía.
Oportunamente, mi amigo @Jonathan, me invitó a atender un “Live-YouTube”, en el que supe sobre la diversidad de Hive. Allí conocí al profesor @Kreuter2022, quién ha sido un gran apoyo con sus consejos, optimismo y su especial invitación a ser parte de Hive.
Llegado el primero de abril de 2024, comencé un entrenamiento llamado “Hive Desde Cero”, el cual es un periodo de clases, a través de las cuales, podremos obtener el conocimiento y la destreza necesaria para formarnos como “Creadores de Contenido Hive”.
Uno de mis mayores deseos con mi ingreso a Hive es continuar creando cuentos de terror y publicando, para que los amantes de este género literario y de la lectura en general puedan disfrutarlos. También, deseo hacer amistad con personas apasionadas por la escritura. Mis saludos y respetos para toda la comunidad Hive.
Cabe destacar que la jornada de entrenamiento estuvo inmejorable, excelente, gracias a los y las instructoras: @kreuter2022, @soy-laloreto, @crisch23, @elizabeths14, a quienes considero muy experimentados dentro del “Ecosistema Hive” por su dominio, conocimiento y manejo de los procedimientos y tareas que tendremos que abordar para llegar a ser exitosos dentro de este sitio web. Felicitaciones a todo este staff por su dedicación y apoyo.

In Taringa, I had the opportunity to create short macabre stories and publish them, which I felt very comfortable with since I was able to give free rein to my creativity.
Unfortunately, Taringa was closed, but fortunately, a former taringuero friend @jonathanr, advised me to look for information about a website known as “HIVE”, where if I managed to enter, I could publish my literary creations.
Hive is an ecosystem where “the blockchain” is mainly promoted (Google)[https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hive_(cryptocurrency)], so that ordinary people, without any knowledge about cryptocurrencies and computing, like me, can join this ecosystem in any way.
Hive seemed to me to be a serious platform, with relevance, where serious literary creations could be published and where content publishers would have the possibility of developing their creativity, and going beyond a meme or a photograph.
Appropriately, my friend @Jonathan invited me to attend a “Live-YouTube”, where I learned about the diversity of Hive. There I met Professor @Kreuter2022, who has been a great support with his advice, optimism and his special invitation to be part of Hive.
On April 1, 2024, I began a training called “Hive From Scratch”, which is a period of classes, through which we will be able to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to train ourselves as “Hive Content Creators”.
One of my greatest wishes with my entry into Hive is to continue creating horror stories and publishing, so that lovers of this literary genre and reading in general can enjoy them. Also, I want to make friends with people who are passionate about writing. My greetings and respects to the entire Hive community.
It should be noted that the training period was unbeatable, excellent, thanks to the instructors: @kreuter2022, @soy-laloreto, @crisch23, @elizabeths14, whom I consider very experienced within the “Hive Ecosystem” for their mastery, knowledge and management of the procedures and tasks that we will have to address to become successful within this website.
