How is everyone? I hope you are doing great, and today is an excellent time of the week to tell you about one of my favorite bands in the world, "Siamés".
Siamés es una banda Argentina de Pop Indie que descubrí por mera casualidad navenagndo por la red, y es que desués de escucharla, no pude más que caer rendida a sus ritmos, letras y profundos dilemas existenciales y morales. Me cautivó desde un primer instante y es que la fusión en su música de diferentes géneros, incluso algunos ritmos que pueden llegar a recordarnos a los enormes Soda Estéreo que harán que tu cabeza simplemente se tambalee.
Múltiples vocales, coros y un ritmo hipnótico son acompañados por letras que inspiran a la meditación y al autoconocimiento, exploran asuntos tan serios como los problemas fraternales, la depresión, el miedo y la xenofobia de maneras divertidas y que logran subir tu ánimo enseguida, es un tipo de música que te ayuda a resolver tus propios problemas de vida acompañado de un ritmo de otro mundo y pegajoso, simplemente una maravilla. Todo esto acompañado de videos musicales de estilo anime de una calidad sobrecogedora que pueden hacerte soñar sin mucho esfuerzo.
Multiple vocals, choruses, and a hypnotic beat are accompanied by lyrics that inspire meditation and self-knowledge, exploring serious issues like sibling issues, depression, fear, and xenophobia in hilarious ways that instantly lift your spirits. a type of music that helps you solve your own life problems accompanied by an otherworldly and catchy rhythm, simply wonderful. All this accompanied by anime-style music videos of an overwhelming quality that can make you dream without much effort.
Siamés mezcla, como mencioné anteriormente, ritmos inspirados en diferentes bandas como pueden ser Gorillaz y Daft Punk, electrónica, ritmos Rockeros, Pop, y dicho por ellos mismos en algunas entrevistas, algunos ritmos de bandas como Soda Estéreo. A pesar de ser una banda Argentina, el idioma que emplean en sus letras es el inglés, lo cual les ha otorgado un éxito podría decirse, más internacional que si cantaran íntegramente en español.
Siamés mixes, as I mentioned before, rhythms inspired by different bands such as Gorillaz and Daft Punk, electronics, Rock rhythms, Pop, and, as they themselves said in some interviews, some rhythms from bands such as Soda Estéreo. Despite being an Argentine band, the language they use in their lyrics is English, which has given them a success that could be said, more international than if they sang entirely in Spanish.
Su primer albúm fue lanzado en el año 2016 con el título de #Bounce to the music", y el segundo (mi favorito aunque ambos son excelentes), lanzado en el año 2020 lleva por título "Home", más electrónico e incluso bailable, más Indie que el anterior y que recuerdan a Tame Impala, en ambos discos han retratado algunos de sus temas con videos de estética anime increíblemente vistosos.
