Hello dear community! Again we report back with... another birthday! 😱, that's right 😅, and it may surprise you to know that we only have 5 days difference between our birthdays 😄🍰, (that's right, we are both Gemini, maybe that's why we understand each other and get along well 🙈🥰♊) At first we thought of making some plan to bring our celebrations together, but because of the heavy situation at @fclore22's school, we decided better to do something for each other and maybe later something for both of us 😊💑💕. And now, on @panconcajeta's birthday, we decided to go one of the most popular places in CDMX, the central alameda, around the great Palacio de Bellas Artes 😮💓, since there were two places there that interested us a lot. But before, we had to make a forced stop to the busy streets of the capital's Zócalo, as the birthday boy was in urgent need of a belt.
We took the opportunity to take these photos of what the streets of these neighborhoods normally look like, which to our eyes have a singular urban beauty. ☺📸
From there we started our way to our first destination, very close to the central alameda, walking 🚶💑. On our way we came across very interesting sights, which we share with you below.
Finally we approached the pulque museum, which looked something like this.
However, due to the time we were no longer allowed to enter 😣, but we were still able to enjoy the drinks they offer at the pulqueria downstairs, called "Panana" which claims to bring their pulque from different places in Queretaro and Tlaxcala. At that time they already had few flavors of the ones they normally offer, but all of them very unique and special, among them Horchata, rose petals, tomato, nescafe and mint, which were these last two and the first one we tried 😋🥂. You may be wondering what pulque is, as it is something very endemic to Mexico, and even has a classy connotation 😮, as it is produced from the fermented juice of the Maguey, a plant that grows in the arid and semi-arid areas of the country. The Maguey is one of the most important plants for Mexicans, since besides being the base for the elaboration of pulque and other emblematic drinks of the city, it can also be used in the construction of houses and in the elaboration of handicrafts.
Pulque is an alcoholic beverage with a very low alcohol content, which is why it is considered a "healthy" drink. Pulque is believed to have medicinal and nutritional properties, which is why it has been consumed for centuries by the indigenous peoples of Mexico. Pulque is a very popular drink in Mexico, especially among young people, and can be found in any bar or restaurant. If you visit Mexico, you can't leave without trying this delicious concoction.
Meanwhile, El Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías in the CDMX is a place where you can learn all about this traditional Mexican drink. The museum has a large collection of objects related to pulque, from utensils for its production to old bottles and advertising posters. In addition, the museum offers tours guided by experts on the subject, where you can learn all about the history and elaboration of pulque. We look forward to visiting later. 🤗💓
We were served very fast and the pulques were very delicious 😋, however, they filled us up a lot and after a little while we felt a little swollen in the belly, so we went for a walk for a while to the alameda that was nearby ☺️ The time passed so much that it became night in the city, and gave us these beautiful views. 📸
When we felt more capable we walked a couple of streets to enter a... Wings Buffet! One of the most famous and recognized in CDMX of the several that can be found, called "Rebel Wings" And despite the time, we had to wait a bit to get in. As soon as we entered we ordered our first order of wings of the 4 that would be that night 😎🤭. In addition to wings, there were Boneles, burgers, hot dogs, fries and veggies unlimited! 😮💞

After spending a wonderful day together, celebrating @panconcajeta's happy birthday 🥰💕, we ended the celebration with a stop to eat a delicious chicken broth, very typical in the folklore of the CDMX, which are traditionally accompanied with chickpeas, rice and the piece of chicken of your choice, along with onion, cilantro and spicy of your choice, They are a Delight! 😋💓🐔
And we retired so that finally @panconcajeta could fully enjoy her gifts. 🎁🥳🎉 Besides the celebration they made him at home, which was a delicious red chicken pozole, as he likes so much 😋🍲, and a great strawberry and raspberry jam Cheasecake 🍰, @fclore gave him some gifts that the birthday boy liked 🙈💕.
These were 3 books by her favorite author, Liliana Collanzi, which are surprisingly hard to get here in CDMX, and we were very lucky that just a publishing house recently put one of her most recent works in print. 😮 Besides that was a yellow shirt with black cat prints, @panconcajeta's favorite chocolates, his favorite honey drink, a belt and... a small cake of... cajeta haha 🙈💕, a las tres leches, with a decoration of little bees, which are the birthday boy's favorite animal (in part because of the Hive community 😉).
