Social Media challenge - The Striker

At the time of this challenge, none of my players stood out. Today I introduce you to our best striker, Kenta Fujii. He made it to third place on the League 2 top scorers' table with 32 goals. He was a new signing for Season 78. He was played in L/MID, only scoring 3 goals after 13 games. It was not until I started playing him as a No. 9 that he started banging in the goals. He scored 2 in a 2-0 win, 3 in an 8-1 win, 5 in a 7-0 win, 4 in a 0-4 win, 1 in a 0-3 win, 1 in a 2-2 draw, 2 in a 3-3 draw, 2 in a 3-4 win, 1 in a 3-0 win and 5 in a 1-6 win.

kenta's contribution has contributed to our second place finish with 62 points this Season, just missing out on promotion. In a previous post, I gave us five or six seasons to reach League 1 but it has turned out to be more difficult than we envisaged. Not only do we have to battle the players already in League 2, but also we have to deal with the relegated teams. Although these teams may have been abandoned by their managers, they are still very well equipped with high OS players. They were still a force to contend with when they can field a team.

The reason why he was not as effective when played behind the striker is obvious - his passing score is only 37. If he can get the ball in an around the box, there is a good chance of a goal as his dribbling and shot score more than made up for his passing ability. His contract has already been extended and I hope he will help us reach League 1 in the near future.
