Laneige water sleeping mask is a Korean product. It is a hydrating gel-textured sleeping mask. This is an overnight mask. This mask quickly absorbs while you sleep to deeply hydrate your skin. This is not a mine step of skin care. This is an additional step for a skincare routine.

Who is this product suitable for?
More suitable for people with normal and dry skin. And oily skin people with dehydrated skin can use it. Those people with dry skin may benefit more by using it as a sleeping mask or over another moisturizer. But since most of the skin gets dry in winter, this would be a perfect sleeping mask for winter. This is a very helpful product for people with dull and dehydrated skin.

Its ingredients list contains squalene and sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid), two ingredients that help hydrate the skin. This sleeping mask also contains a form of ceramide, beta-glucan, and a derivative of vitamin C that repair and moisturize the skin. This mask contains glycerine which improves the skin barrier and hydrates the outer layer of the skin. Squalane helps in holding moisture in the skin and it has antioxidant properties.

Check the entire ingredient list from its website. Never buy a product without checking the ingredients list. Because the product that works for me may not work for you. Do your research. An ingredient that is good for me may not be for you.

In winter I have been using this as a sleeping mask at night for about six months. It gives my skin a nice glow in the morning and keeps it hydrated and nourished all night. It is a great product for winter. I use this twice a week. I use this mask after my simple moisturizer. First, I use micellar water and then clean my face with a gentle cleanser. Then I use a toner and a serum for my skin concern. After that, I use my simple light moisturizer. And then I use this sleeping mask in my last step. It is not necessary to use it daily. It can be easily blended for a very gel texture. Doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. It also brings a glow to the skin.

Negative side:
It is not fragrance-free. It will not work if you have extremely oily skin. It claims that it brightens the skin. Nothing like that happened in my case.

I bought the mini size of this sleeping mask. I check every skin care product first to see if it suits my skin. Even if it is a mini size, it can be used for a long time.

You should consider your skin concerns, needs, problems, and ingredient list and then buy. I enjoy doing my skincare. After checking all the steps I always check all the reviews and select the product for me. Then there is no chance of damage to my skin. Many people say the product does not suit them. But in my opinion, if you research everything and choose the product for yourself then there is no reason not to suit. Because no one understands your skin as well as you do.
