How I developed my writing skill

Greetings!

Skills or talents are so essential for human development and growth without both, it would be kind of difficult for us as humans to progress or get to our destination in life.

The necessity of both cannot be overemphasized and this is because they are the wheel through which we travel and get to our various destinations.

Having said this, I would like to delve into a topic which is about, “a skill or talent that changed me.”

One thing is that I have always loved to write, but I was not so good at writing. Then, I have a friend who knows how to write very well, his name is Smart. Smart really lived up to his name and he's very good at writing.

So, one day I walked up to him and asked him to come and teach me the rudiment of writing.

At first this my good friend thought i was just joking as he's not really seen me in that mood before, but when he saw that I was sincere with what I was saying, he promised to put me through all the rudiments and after that, I began to write on my own and after writing anything, I would take it to him just for him to help me edit all my errors and mistakes.

However, it got to a time that I no longer visited him for any amendments whatsoever. This was not born out of hatred, but from the fact that I have improved on my writing skills.

Although, it's not that I have not been writing before I met Smart, I have been writing and even passing my exam, but to me, there's more to creative writing which Smart has, but I lacked and that's what I went to learn from him and I'm happy today that the writing skill I learnt from Smart has and is really paying up for me as I am making money from my writing skill and also, my ability to edit others work has really been a blessing and a vocal point of my writing skill.

In conclusion, the use of the Hive blockchain chain to post my articles has also contributed immensely to my writing skill and I'm grateful to God, my friend, Smart and most especially the Hive blockchain for the platform it gave me to showcase myself and my writing skill.
