One animal I know that can judge humans a lot is chicken. That animal has seen many things. Animals have feelings like jealousy, anger, fear within them.
There was a time when I was younger, one of our neighbors was raising a chicken 🐔. That chicken grew a lot that it became really big. I can't say how big or how many months old the chicken was then, because I was a small girl then. I will always watch the chicken from upstairs. That neighbor of ours had a baby then so whenever she was feeding the baby, the chicken would always come around.
One day, when our neighbor and her sister were having a heated argument. The chicken stood quietly watching them. I believe within me the chicken must've been wondering what was the reason for the fight and/or who to side with. On some occasions, I caught the chicken watching closely as the woman was giving the baby biscuit 🍪 and once the woman turned her back, the chicken intentionally pinch the little girl and she had to release her biscuit and the chicken devoured it immediately 😂. The chicken did that intentionally knowing that she won't do anything. That chicken must've felt jealous when the woman gave only the baby biscuit without giving her 😂.
On certain occasions, we care for the mother hen and her chicks. But when you try to go close to the 🐣 chick, the mother hen can bite you. This is because "there's no gratitude for man"; I read a novel with that title in my basic school days. The novel for little children centered on how animals were interacting amongst themselves; if man is of any good to them? The fowl said, she gives man egg, serves as local alarm yet man will eventually kill her. The dog said that he provides companionship, serves as security yet man end up selling them or their puppies or even killing them. And so, other animals mentioned their grievances towards man and they concluded that "there's no gratitude for man".

Wow, I also noticed that the mother hen won't let you get near the little chicken. Thanks for sharing
