Truly, there are some skills that you will learn and it will go along way to help and assist you as much as your certificate. In a country like ours , having a skill is necessary and very important, because your skill will always provide emergency funds for you at times without having to depend on your certificate.
I have learnt some skills that have been of help and assistance to me of recent. And few of those skills is what I am going to talk about.
Learning a research writing skills ; right from my higher institution days I have always tried as much as possible to understand and know how research is being written. And over the years I have been doing that and have been improving every year. And over the years the skill have been helping me, because I have been helping some of my colleagues write their research, seminar etc. and at times help them publish it. Even this year, when I was a bit down financially, research proofreading came in and I had to do that and get some cash that helped me pay some bills.
Also late last year, I was introduced to hive by my friend and it has really been helpful. The writing skill is ones again being utilized and it has really been helping. Aside from the rewards gained in the process of doing hive, I have also gained more knowledge.
Music skill is one other skill that has helped me over the years. Because I have also used it as a side hustle, used it as a tool to worship God, music has also linked me up to a lot of people that I would have not had met in normal circumstance. Aside that, during long vacation, organizing a musical instrument class for people is always helpful. For music I learnt it out of passion. It has Improve my relationship with people.
Writing research works us a big adventure I haven't dabbled into, music is the window to the soul so you have life changing skills there.

Hmmm! I will also love to learn that research so that I can use it for most of my projects. Though at some point we learnt it in school, but I didn't go that deep because it was on a general level.
