𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕.. 𝑵𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆..𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓!

Comparison is the stealer of joy, I mean it makes you feel like you're not doing enough or you're not good enough.

It takes away your self-esteem, demoralizes you and sometimes makes you cringe when people become successful. Comparison often time makes someone very competitive like they're in a tournament with another person, when unhealthy competition set it, anxiety sets in too, followed by depression and pessimism. If care is not taking one could begin to harbor resentment and also become frustrated when they feel they're not meeting up and gradually one begin to be less productive.

Life isn't so, a quick reminder that life is life and too often how we plan life doesn't always go exactly, so please take it easy on yourself.

I have always believed that everyone has got their own time and everyone is currently in their own phase in life, so long as you do not stop halfway your route, you'll surely get to your destination.

The little steps you're taking today are actually making a big difference, they matter and they are bringing you to your next phase. Don't stop trying, don't feel discouraged, don't beat yourself too much, you're doing your best and you should be proud about it.

One thing that always helped me to avoid comparison is taking a moment to celebrate my little wins and realizing where I was yesterday isn't same as where I am at today. If you wanna beat comparison, just stay grateful for your wins, rather than compare your harvest to that of another farmer? Water yours and it will bloom.

That brings me to celebrating my 2nd year on Hive, just like yesterday I joined the Hive blockchain, finding my way around the chain with an open heart and today see how far I've come.

I am aware that others who started same time with me, have accomplished more than I've done but that doesn't stop me from moving and that doesn't stop me from celebrating with them either. I will never compare my journey to others, some people write twice a day or even thrice day despite their busy schedule, makes tons of comments, keep up with a lot of things and they are thriving, I really do admire their zeal and I am always happy to see them win.

Nevertheless, I won't downplay my effort and consistency as well, my little power ups, my effort to write daily and not just dropping quantity but adding value to my post, my own little way of engaging on the chain.

I won't also take for granted the friends I've made along the way who have been a backbone to me, and those who always come around my blog to leave me a thoughtful comment or a show of support.

The journey have been filled with so much lessons, experience, exploration, growth, and a lot more.

When I took a moment to reflect on how I started and now, I couldn't help but smile and applaud myself for the journey so far.

I started with no hive power, but today I am already at 3.4k HP, I've been able to save some HBD and I have been able to hit most of my Hive goals that I set for the year and we are just in August.

I believe in myself and I know if I am still consistent I will accomplish more. I can't over emphasize how much this blockchain mean to me and how it has helped me in so many ways. I will never compare my journey to the next person, we have different challenges, we are on different timeline as well. I am proud of myself and all I have been able to do in my own little way and I will never set an unrealistic goal to to measure up with others, like a moving train, I'll keep going slow and steady.

Here is home, here is blissful, here I find solace behind my keyboard, here I challenge myself to be a better version of who I am, here I am ready to learn and unlearn and here I am ready to unleash my full potential.

Cheers to all of who who I've met on the way, to those I'm yet to meet? I can't wait to meet you too and to all the motivations I read through your contents, it has helped me to keep going.

Thank you to all of you waking up everyday and making effort to show up here on the chain, because of course, we have life outside Hive, but your dedication and commitment has a tremendous impact more than you think and people are watching and they are inspired by it.
