Hi, friends!
Do I have to say how lucky I have been to be part of one of the hardest gravel rallies in the world - Acropolis Rally Greece?? Yes, I am so grateful for this opportunity with one finish (last year) and one DNF (did not finish, this year) and I hope that this will happen in the future again.
So, year 1999 was from golden era of rallying where there was many drivers able to win and fight for the championship and with lots of manufacturers in the sport. Oh, how I miss Subaru, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Citroen and some other manufacturers like Škoda or Seat. This was just golden era of rallying.
Acropolis Rally Greece is a gravel rally with very rocky surface where suspension and tires must work to the maximum and everything must be in the top condition to survive for four days of driving under hardest pressure for human and machine.
There was one special name from those days - Colin McRae who won this rally three times in the row. Find more by yourself!

Incredible rally!! That's a bucket list one I'd love to see live - only thing that could make it better, was to see if back in the old days!!! The beating the cars, drivers and co-drivers take is insane - just completing the rally is an accomplishment!! Next year, you'll be there flying the colors of @HIVE - can't wait!!!
