Hello rally fans :)!
The 2025 Rallye Monte Carlo lived up to its reputation as one of the most iconic and challenging rally on the WRC calendar. This year’s edition brought lots of thrilling & nail biting moments, big milestones, some crashes, burning cars, spectator idiotism (like always) and of course class driving. It wasn’t just about the overall winner but also the incredible battles across all categories.
Ogier’s Decade of Dominance❤️
Sébastien Ogier (who is also from Gap!) cemented his legacy with a record breaking 10th victory at Monte Carlo!!! Proving everyone his status as a rally legend :). Partnered with co driver Vincent Landais (who used to codrive Pierre-Louis Loubet) in their Toyota GR Yaris Rally1, Ogier was in a league of his own. From the very first stage, he showed unmatched pace and control, building a commanding lead that left his rivals scrambling to catch up.
Despite the hard competition, Ogier and Vincent managed to keep their cool on the demanding roads of the French Alps. Monte’s full of unpredictable mix of dry tarmac, icy patches, and snow covered sections tested every driver, but Ogier’s experience really shined l.
“Every win here feels special,” Ogier said after the rally. “This place has always been magical for me, and to achieve 10 wins is something I could never have imagined.”

Rossel’s WRC2 Victory
While Ogier dominated the WRC1, Yohan Rossel stole the spotlight in WRC2! Driving a Citroën C3 Rally2, Rossel once again showed his skills and determination to take home the win. His performance was very impressive and so enjoyable to watch! I cheerd for Gryazin, Greensmith, Yamamoto and Kogure in that category buuut some of them didn’t have much luck😅.
“Monte Carlo is always a tough challenge, but everything came together for us this weekend. It’s an amazing way to start the year,” Rossel said to the interviewers after his win.
FINAL WRC2 TOP3 was dominated by French men including Yohan’s brother Leo!
