      El día de ayer, sábado, fui a reencontrarme con una antigua amiga, quien fue una compañera muy preciada cuando cursaba en la Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Aragua (UPTA). Lamentablemente, ella vivía muy lejos y la situación del país nos tuvo que dividir. Así que, no hace mucho, nos pusimos nuevamente en contacto, y como ha estado viendo algunos de los contenidos que he estado subiendo, me dijo si podíamos reunirnos en un parque de calistenia ubicado en el centro de la ciudad de San Mateo, Edo. Aragua. Nunca había ido a entrenar ahí, así que agarré mi motocicleta y me fui a conocer este nuevo lugar.

Yesterday, Saturday, I went to meet again with an old friend, who was a very dear classmate of mine when I studied at the Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Aragua (UPTA). Unfortunately, she lived far away and the situation of the country had to divide us. So, not long ago, we got in touch again, and as she has been watching some of the contents I have been uploading, she told me if we could meet in a calisthenics park located in the center of the city of San Mateo, Aragua State. I had never been to train there, so I grabbed my motorcycle and went to check out this new place.

      Al llegar, se sorprendió de lo mucho que había cambiado gracias a que seguí entrenando. Creo que han pasado como tres años aproximadamente desde la última vez, y fue muy agradable hablarle sobre cada una de las aventuras y viajes que he tenido gracias a seguir entrenando. Me contó que, por las tardes, en ese parque donde me llevó, se la pasaban entrenando un grupo pequeño de personas, pero me sorprendió que a sus equipos los tenían con un cuidado y atención excelente. Noté que también los mismos vecinos que viven cerca de ahí instalaron algunas anillas y barras adicionales para acondicionarlo a su conveniencia de entrenamiento. Por supuesto, no pude dejar pasar la oportunidad de tomarme fotografías para preservar el momento y le agradezco de corazón a mi amiga Angeli por haberme traído y pasar este rato agradable, lo cual espero repetir otro día para poder conocer a las personas que entrenan aquí.

When he arrived, he was surprised at how much I had changed thanks to my continued training. I think it's been about three years or so since the last time, and it was very nice to talk to him about each of the adventures and trips I've had thanks to continuing to train. He told me that, in the afternoons, in that park where he took me, a small group of people were training, but I was surprised that their equipment was given excellent care and attention. I also noticed that the same neighbors who live nearby installed some additional rings and bars to make it more convenient for their training. Of course, I could not pass up the opportunity to take pictures to preserve the moment and I thank my friend Angeli from the bottom of my heart for having brought me and having this nice time, which I hope to repeat another day to meet the people who train here.

      La experiencia fue realmente enriquecedora. No solo me permitió reconectar con una amiga de antaño, sino también descubrir un nuevo espacio para entrenar y conocer a personas que comparten mi pasión por la calistenia. Este parque, con sus instalaciones bien cuidadas y el esfuerzo comunitario para mejorarlo, me dejó una impresión muy positiva. Además, el ambiente era muy acogedor, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más gratificante. Estoy deseando volver pronto y quizás unirme a las sesiones de entrenamiento que se realizan allí regularmente. The experience was truly enriching. Not only did it allow me to reconnect with a long-time friend, but also to discover a new space to train and meet people who share my passion for calisthenics. This park, with its well-maintained facilities and the community effort to improve it, left a very positive impression on me. In addition, the atmosphere was very welcoming, which made the experience even more rewarding. I am looking forward to returning soon and perhaps joining the training sessions held there on a regular basis.
